Cooking Instructions - General **The internal temperature of this chicken needs to reach 180°F as measured by a food thermometer. Make sure your chicken is cooked thoroughly by checking the temperature in several spots. **To Thaw: **Store covered in the refrigerator for 12 hours or overnight, or thaw in a microwave on defrost setting. **For best results when breading or marinating frozen chicken, remove the protective ice glaze by holding under lukewarm running water for about 1 minute. **Grill - From Frozen **1. Preheat grill to medium heat. **2. Grill frozen drumsticks, turning occasionally, 35 to 45 minutes, or until juices run clear when thickest part of chicken is pierced and temperature on instant read thermometer reaches 180°F. (Grill thawed drumsticks 25 to 35 minutes.) **Oven cook - From Frozen **Conventional Oven†: **1. Preheat oven to 375°F. **2. Bake frozen drumsticks 55 to 65 minutes, or until juices run clear when thickest part of chicken is pierced and temperature on instant read thermometer reaches 180°F. (Bake thawed drumsticks 45 to 55 minutes.) **† Preferred method. Appliances may vary. Cooking times are approximate.
