I can very much relate to the thief. This person really just wanted to help this other person ( trying to not give it away I promise). We all can use a little help here and there. The Grace of God film is so inspiring, so moving, I cried. Ya'll I just cried. It is not even sad. I just cried.
I always look forward to watching truly inspirational films like this one. What I liked most is how characters developed and evolved throughout the storyline. The film develops quickly, and I like that. I need for story to move along quickly to keep my attention. In the first 3 minutes $30,000 of the church donations has been stolen. Based on the 10 commandments the recurring theme in this film is “thou shall not steal. A great movie for the family to watch and learn from. We also take the lesson that we should not judge a book by its cover.
This movie GRACE OF GOD centers around some money(just over $30,000) that comes up missing in a church. They hire a private investigator to try and find out how it disappeared. You will find out who stole the money towards the end of the movie but it will keep you guessing all the way up till you do.This movies ends with a great message of forgiveness and owning up to our mistakes. I think that watching GRACE OF GOD is a great way to learn a few life lessons in acceptance, forgiveness and honesty. I received a copy of this movie to facilitate a review on my blog and I loved it.
About the Product: Having lost his faith many years ago, Detective Bill Broadly is called to investigate the disappearance of the local church's collection plate. As he questions its various church members, rumors swirl as more congregants learn about the theft. When one unexpected church-goer confesses to stealing the funds, the confession resurrects Broadly's views on God, and helps him see that through faith and belief there really is rebirth and redemption. My Review: Easter is a great holiday to use as a time of reflection, it is and should be totally focused on God and the fact He sent His Son to die for our sins. Sometimes within our daily struggles and just focusing on life in general we forget all that He has done for us. Grace of God, centers around The Ten Commandments and it leads the main character into a search of self and how each of the items discussed relates directly towards him even though he is investigating a theft. Don't you just love it when God shows us through as many means as necessary that there may be a message for us there as well? I love that we have a Father that will do whatever it takes to help His children! Grace of God is a family friendly film being highly rated by Dove.org and the message is perfect for ages 12 and above. Loving our neighbors in spite of themselves or any known sin is the general message of the movie, in my opinion. My family enjoyed the movie and it's a great reminder to love others as Christ would have us to do. If you would like to learn more, you can at this link.
