After years of experimenting with various tires, I settled on Goodyear several years ago. Why, because I use them towing, on long trips, with heavy work loads, in all kinds of weather, on dirt and rock roads and highways. With this tire you don't have to worry about these many conditions that strain a tire. I've yet to have a flat on the ST---get about 45,000+ miles including use on dirt roads etc. which is best I have had on a tire. I drive a combination of highways and rural areas including national forest/farm roads etc. The tires are subjected to 100 degree plus summers, and a few weeks of winter snow and ice. The price is reasonable for the amount of wear I get, and safety I receive on the road.
