Great Value

These are a little bulky, not as easy to switch around like the more expensive ones, but if you are not too lazy and don't mind taking an additional 30 seconds to switch around the weights, they are a fantastic value.

Does the job for a cheap price

Okay set of weights for the price, which is the big selling point in my opinion. The two weights total 40 lbs, which means they are supposed to be 20 pounds each. Which is kind of light for some of my needs, but I just add three 7.5's and a 2.5 and I get a little added weight on a arm curl. The product does not recommend that adjustment, but I only add them on curls and they work just fine. If you are a serious bodybuilder who likes to use extremely heavy weights these will not work, but for someone who likes to build a little strength and do minor free weight exercises these will work just fine. Some have complained they are bulky, but I do my arm curls and extensions just fine. If you are comparing these to metal or steel weights, then they are bulky, but I don't see a problem otherwise.

The Height of Mediocrity

I suppose one can't expect much from a $20 adjustable-weight dumbbell set, but I did. There really isn't anything wrong with it per se, but it isn't up to par with the quality of other adjustable-weight sets. The two primary shortcomings are its very large weights (the two 2.5 lb weights together are visually as large as a normal 15 lb weight) and less than stellar pin method (used to secure the weights onto the bar). Still it was significantly cheaper than other sets, so if you are a fair weather exerciser, then it could be the thing for you.

Cheap plastic junk

I was expecting real weights made from metal. They are plastic filled with sand. All of it is very cheaply made. I am returning this junk today.
I would recommend this product, sure, if that person had no interest in lifting weights. Not a good start to a review. Here's the deal, I bought these thinking that it would be enough weight and it wasn't. The weights are bulky, the clips are annoying. If I were twelve, this would be great.... but I'm not. For the money this is great, but my suggestion is to save up and by a set of weights with more variety. I took these back and bought another set with thinner weights and more variety.
