Beautiful finish. Amazing finish for the price. Veryy much worth it. Stir it well.
this is an awesome paint at the best possible price delivered. ordered 1 gallon to try. then ordered 3 more to paint everything from the fence to my neighbors fence. PNG product, get a paint sprayer ... really professional looking outcome. highly recommend.
Better than priced - Save Money, Live Better.
Sprayed on to two year aged rough cut bat and board siding. Two coated to get a heavy base on the walls. Quite impressed to say the least. The color reminds me of the traditional picnic table red, slightly redder than the redwood stains I typically use but not a bad thing. The two coating yielded a coverage of about 110 ft sq per gallon. Rained within 24 hours of application and had no wash off.
good coverage, and great price
I used it to stain a 4 month old porch, and it came out better than expected. I had low expectations due to the low price, but it looks good! It has good coverage, but really needs the recommend second coat to keep an even finish. As stated elsewhere, make sure you stir this stuff up really well.. the pigment solids drop to the bottom, so you'll want to use a flat ended stir stick to scrape it up and get it back into solution... shaking the can just won't get it.
You won't be sorry
This stain is by far the best I've used for this price range. It is semi transparent therefore the more you use, the deeper the color. That said, if you want the wood grain showing through it is best to apply a single brushed or rolled, then back-brushed coat. It is a beautiful rich red color and is easy to apply evenly. In my opinion, it outperforms many higher priced brands.
This is a great deck stain!
Tried expensive (~$40+/gallon) Sherwin Williams deck stain which began to chip after only about 6 months. Gave this stain a try because of the super low price. While it’s probably not my first choice in color, I’d recommend the quality
This paint got the job done. This really is NOT red. Call it Burnt Orange, Rust maybe ehh? It covers great though. It’s cheap. Due to the color dissatisfaction I gave it 4 stars. Don’t go by the pictures on the paint can. Go by the pictures people actually took. I was expecting red. The only complaint I have though!
Orange and red, depends on application
Tested this on my deck before buying enough to do the whole thing. New pressure treated lumber that is dried for 4 months, i would agree that his is orangish. My deck is already stained redwood color with Flood product. Over the weathered pressure treated lumber of my deck, the color seems to match up with a redwood stain. I can’t speak to the durability of it, but am willing to buy more for my entire deck. Hoping to get 2-3 yrs out of it. I dont get much better life out of a high end Cabot stain or equal on decking.
Used For My Rental Properties
The color is actually lighter than what it usd on container but overall good semi transparent. Water beads right off and has uv ray protection. I've bought these for My Rental Properties so I have a good amount of use and experience with it.
