Best and most versatile product
I take care of my mother, who has Alzheimers. I've paused my nursing career, as this requires my 24/7 attention. Mom does spill a lot of liquids, and cups with lids provoke her to remove the lid! After cleaning up yet another mess, I was desperate to find a solution. A idea came to me, and all I can say is thank you for a great product. The only improvement I would like to see is using a stronger glue (or more glue, whichever works) to hold the package ends together. I've had to tape them in the past due to this issue. Kind of ironic to have this product packaged in box that falls apart, am I right? It's a great product but the packaging needs improvement.

Glad Press 'n Seal used to be the best product on the market for wrapping food. Now we can't get the wrap to tear off without it being an uneven mess and eventually we're unable to get it to unroll at all. Last night I heard my husband wrestling with something in the kitchen, minutes later he handed me the product and told me to mail it back to Glad, and to ask them what we're supposed to do with this mess. I chose this route because I didn't want to spend any more money on this.

A great use

As I was wrapping my granddaughters cast for the fifth time while camping so she could go to the pool she was looking at the box and says “they don’t say you can use it as a protector for a cast!”

Great for sealing and re-sealing sandwiches!

I have to pass through a security check point everyday that requires the opening and closing of sandwiches for inspection and Glad Press n' Seal is PERFECT! It seals tightly and re-seals GREAT in a the few seconds I have to do this. I also use it to protect items that have to be put in my mail box that are too long for plastic zipper bags. The roll lasts a surprisingly very long time and is affordable!

I'll never use any other plastic wrap!

Verified purchase

I always hated Saran Wrap and all the other plastic wraps that sort of stuck to things and sort of didn't. When my sister brought me a roll of Press and Seal, I rolled my eyes, figuring it was just another one of those annoying wraps. I was very surprised- and pleasantly so - to discover that not only does it go on nice and tight, but it also STAYS on that way! And if I need to take the Wrapper back off for something I can do that and then just reseal it and it will be fun. I love this stuff! I tell everybody I can about it! If you haven't tried it, do! It'll be one of your best buys yet!

This is a must have!

I freeze a lot of meat. I make sheets of hamburger patties, chicken breasts, etc. Lay one sheet flat, place meat about 2 inches apart, lay another sheet onto. Press around each piece of meat. Place in freezer bag. Individual portions! Cook what you need.

1. No! It looks from the package the same but it is very sealable and re-sealable. It does protect your food in the freezer but is a lot better. MK

2. No. This is not freezer wrap. I have wrapped food in this, but I still put it in a freezer bag.

3. No. The two have different purposes. Press'n seal adheres to the sides of everything needing to be sealed and put up. Freezer wrap doesn't cling or seal.

1. Yes, the description is a mistake! It is 70 Sq. Ft. of sealing wrap, NOT 70" bags!

1. Easy fix .... but not as good as press an seal which is a compleat seal with no drip upside down or odor from food...

2. Are you using the correct side of the wrap? As you pull it out you should put the wrap down on the bowl or what ever you are trying to seal. If you use the other side you'll need the rubber bands.
