Love, love, love
This book is slowly becoming a favorite. I?m still reading it, but I enjoy how down to earth the author is. I was convinced I wanted to read this book by such great reviews that were given. Definitely an easy ready!!!

I listened to chapter 1 and 2 of the audio track. I felt like there was a lot I could relate too. Then I got to chapter 3 about minute 37 and I noticed the author began to talk about her accomplishments. I had to stop listening at about minute 55. I not once heard her say it was God who did those things through her. She took all the credit for these accomplishments that she couldn't have done without God. I heard a lot of "I did" statements instead of look what "God has done." Maybe in later in the book she gives credit to God. I couldn't keep listening after that. It was like nails on a chalk board with every "I" statement that was made. Maybe a good book futher but I couldn't keep listening to something that didn't glorify God.

I Absolutely LOVE this book! If you're in your teens it will help you alot. I wish I read this when I was seventeen. It would have helped me go through so hard times. And help me see stuff that I should have seen right in front of my eyes.

I just finished readin...

I just finished reading Girl, Wash Your Face: Stop Believing the Lies about Who You Are So You Can Become Who You Were Meant to Be which was a very inspiring book. First off, I am not part of the target audience for this book. Being a fifty-five-year-old man instead of the early thirty-year-old woman this book is written for. Despite not being in the target audience I found many things that I could learn from in this book. Each and everyone of the lies that Rachel talks about in the book apply equally to both men and women. The Lie: I'll Start Tomorrow, is one of many lies in this book that apply to myself. I was just like Rachel for most of my life, I would tell myself that I was going to exercise then not stick to it. I would recommend that everyone take the time to read this wonderful book and learn to make ourselves just a little better in the process.

Rachel Hollis is such ...

Rachel Hollis is such an inspiration. This book was just what I needed and I hope that fire it lit within me remains burning for a good long time. This book is down to earth about the struggles we go through and how to push past and overcome them. I feel stronger just having read this. It is relatable and inspirational. *I received a copy of this book from Netgalley. The review is my own, honest and unsolicited.

Girl Wash Your Face!

I haven't yet finished reading it but am enjoying it tremendously! I actually bought it to give as a gift to someone else but since I wanted to read it too, I'm trying to read it quickly before I have to pass it on.
