It survived a huge storm. Returned, because it had a small defect, but it is a good tent.

It is a nice tent.
Great little tent if you do your homework before
I bought this tent for a 2 week camping trip in the southwest and the National Parks. Having read the reviews I knew that getting back to square one would be the problem. Before picking it up I went online and watched a video over and over so I would know how to put it down and stow it. Putting it up was no trouble, it sprung open easily and all I had to do was peg it down before it blew away and then put the fly over. The fly fit well, covered every where it should. It survived a rain storm without me getting wet. Putting it back required a bit of nerve, because you feel like it might break by pushing it down into a figure 8 then folding that over to a circle. It won't break. With that done I tucked the extra fabric into the circle, secured it with the strap and shoved it all into the bag and zipped it all up. I'm a 65 yr old woman, if I can maneuver it and stow it in the bag then anybody can. It is a small tent, only room for one, and that is tight. There are pockets on either side for a small bit of storage. An inflatable mattress fits perfectly inside. You can't stand up, and with the mattress you can barely sit, but for sleeping it's great.
This tent was super for my first night out in 60 to 50 degree wheather. should work for the whole summer with just a little spay on water repellent.
Instructions needed to recreate small frame to fit in carrying case! The 10 year old may be more successful.
First popup tent
The tent appears to be good quality, pops right up, not as hard to get folded as you would think. The tent is much smaller than you think, very very small even for one adult, would be tight with two small kids. The bag is not big enough to get back in when you take the tent down without a lot of pushing and twisting. Overall tent is ok, but priced too high for as small as it is.
