Great water!
We used this brand for our first baby and never refrigerated the water, in fact I never read the statement about having to refrigerate it until I visited the site. No big deal, just cap it after each use. Our son thrived and grew up healthy without refrigerating this water. I understand the companies have to include this statement to be on the safe side when considering that people might store the water in a hot garage or car...storing it in your pantry or counter top will not cause it to be unsanitary. Even if I would have known this was suggested by the company, I would not have done it since I always offered room temperature water to our baby due to special formula with probiotics we gave him was not supposed to be warmed since it could loose its probiotic strength. Great product!

Misleading
Notice it says from a protected well and / or public water. Meaning ? Just filtered from the sewage as most city water is ? If I am gonna buy water, and I do, I am doing it because I want truly pure water. Not recycled from the sewage. Now mind you, I know this is safe, and ultra filtered etc.. however, I prefer if I can, to get it directly from nature. ;)

Fresh clean taste

I but this water every week, have been for years. It has a fresh clean taste and I trust that it is ok to give to my child and family. The price is excellent for the quality.

Good for baby after 1 year

I mostly choose this one when I visit Walmart, specifically in NJ where we have higher mercury/lead I prefer to give my baby infant water only.. Glad to see this online this time, and ordered it. Nice shipping box , packed in plastic bag to avoid leak.. Water quality is good, we all friends usually prefer to give gerber water to babies

1. The Gerber website (gerber.com) specifies at the bottom of its GERBER(R) PURE(TM) Water product description that it is (and I quote) "*Not Sterile. Always follow the instructions on the infant formula and GERBER PURE Water labels. Product is not a nutrient source or electrolyte replacement." Go see for yourself. Hope this helps.
