Insert gets moldy

We have three cups like this with white plastic inserts and I was horrified when I discovered that they all were moldy. We washed them after each use too!

Not baby proof!

My son, while teething, has chewed through the rubber on the spout & has swallowed pieces! Parents please, please, please be very careful if you purchase this product. Maybe it shouldn't be intended for babies that are begging to get or have teeth. Unfortunately you have to rate at least 1 star... If it were an option to have a zero rating on stars, this product would receive zero star rating from me.

Not what is pictured

My child had one of the cups pictured and loved it, it was the only one she would use. However when I picked up the product at the site to store counter the cups had a hard rectangular shaped spout with a small amount of soft plastic covering. They are not the soft spout cups pictured. I returned them immediately. The picture needs to be changed to reflect the product shown. This style of cup is no longer in production according to the gerber website.

Didn't work for my biting baby

I had read that the Gerber sippy cups made by Nuk were the most recommended affordable cups, so I decided to give them a try. I was torn between these, with the handle and the ones that had a hard spout and no handle. I chose these because I thought they would be a good transition cup for my 11 month old to drink her milk out of when we wean her off her bottle. She doesn't quite understand the concept so she bites down on the spout, which caused the valve to push out and fall out into the cup, which caused her to spill the contents of the cup all over herself. I took them back and exchanged them for the hard spout cups. They are nice and easy to clean, and I like that you can buy the valves separately, for a good price. If your baby doesn't enjoy chewing on everything, these are great! If they do, I wouldn't get these.

Not what's pictured!!!

I have 3 of the cups in the picture. I order 3 more two packs to give as gifts because we were so pleased with the quality of the ones pictured. What I got was the 'new and improved' version and I will be returning them. The kids leave teeth marks in the soft coating over the hard plastic spout. Bring back what's in the picture!!

I don't like this new version

My daughter chewed a hole in both cups within a five minute period. This new version of the hard spout with a soft cover does not work. When I purchased this item I thought I was purchasing the old version-fully soft spout. I am truly disappointed and will not purchase this item again. NUK please bring back the old version, a fully soft spout!!

You will not get what is in the picture.

The picture doesn't match what is sent.

NOT AS SHOWN!

My daughter loves the sippy cup shown in the picture. She has chewed through the spouts of all but a few of hers and they have had to be thrown away...so I have been looking for new ones. They are not carried in stores anymore, so I was so happy when I found them here - BUT THEY ARE NOT LIKE THE ONES PICTURED! The cup is the same, but the spout on these is NOT a soft spout. It is hard plastic covered lightly in silicone. My daughter will not drink from those ones as they hurt her gums - so I had to return them. I'm sure they'd be good cups if your child would use them - but they were a disappointment to us, because that is not what I thought I was buying.

Great Sippy for Non-Bottle Babies!

This is our favorite sippy! And we have tried them all! My son is breastfed and would not take a bottle. We started with this sippy, removed the spout, and let a few drops into his mouth to let him know something was in the cup. He wouldn't suck on the silicone cups, or any sippy for that matter. He got the hang of this cup and we have stuck with it for over a year. The spout is great, durable (some of our playtex ones fell apart), and is the most leak-proof cup we've found. No sippy is totally leak proof, but he can actually take this one into bed and lay down and drink. The others that we have leak, the ones with the straw, the playtex cups, etc. These are easy to clean with a bottle brush, you can use the smaller brush to clean out the valve, and the sippy spout.

Not what is pictured

They have changed the cup top and this picture is over a year old. The new spouts are larger and harder. The valve, handles and cup part are the same but the part that matters (spout) is completely different.
