Gowns are my must have clothing item for newborns and infants. Itâs actually the first item I buy for my littles. They are especially essential during the nighttime diaper changes. Itâs a simple slide up of the elastic, change and pull back down. No snaps, no zippers and no feet to stick in and hope they stay put while you get both in to zip up a sleeper. Frustration saved during those sleepy hours. What I love about the Gerber Organic line is that they were so soft and seem to get softer with each wash. These also donât seem to shrink much which means theyâll fit my fast growing boy longer if choosing to machine dry. I prefer the exapandable shoulder flaps for easier over the head when getting it on and for a no mess removal if it needs to come down. My little guy appreciates the comfort of it too as he doesnât panic when it goes on or comes off. About the design, I wasn't a huge fan of prints but these bear themed gowns actually looked so adorable on my little guy that I instantly fell in love with the teddy theme. The picture doesnât do them justice. Iâm so happy with them and would recommend them to anyone with a new little one. These do also have the little fold down/up mittens attached too. Thank you to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing us with these Gerber Organic Gowns. Pics provided to show shrinkage (I washed and dried one on low setting to compare to a new one), ease of changing and how they stay put when wiggling.

Greber organic baby boy night gowns are great for bed! They keep baby warm but not to warm. The opening on the bottom helps with changing baby at night. They are super soft on baby's skin. The built in mitten covers, at the end of the sleeves, help greatly with protecting baby's face! Thank you, wee spring parent panel, for sending me this in exchange for my true and honest feed back.!
Nice quality. Washed well and kept their shape.
Soft, cute and very comfortable
Feels soft and is a lot bigger than i thought
Nice pajamas for baby
They run a little big, but they are great for late night diaper changes. Fabric is soft, not scratchy!
Great sleep ware!
I received these gowns From weeSpring Parent Panel. They are perfect for nighttime so diaper changes are a breeze. All you've got to do is pull the gown up. No more messing around with buttons or trying to get little legs in pants in the middle of the night. They will also get more use out of them because there are no legs so it will take longer for him to outgrow. The fabric is soft, it is fairly thin, thinner than another brand I have, which isn't necessarily a big deal, especially if your little one sleeps hot. I didn't love the expandable shoulder flaps. since it's a gown it's easy to slip over their head so I don't need to have a super wide neck to get them out of. The gown would be down around his shoulders sometimes after being swaddled and him fidgeting which worries me that he'll get cold, so I would have to readjust it at least once a night. Overall we love gowns for their ease of use and will continue to use them plus the design is so adorable!
Organic, Lightweight and extra sleep for parents
There were a lot of things I loved about these new Gerber Organic Gowns. For one the print is a modern very adorable print. The gown alone is so necessary in my opinion for infants of both genders! Those first days of changing tons of poopy diapers, taking on and off outfits, with a gown you donât have to fuss with buttons or snaps, it makes changing all those diapers so quick and easy. I love it even more for nighttime changes, when your freshly sleep deprived, itâs quick and easy designs like this gown that save us extra minutes of sleep which is so needed! Another feature I loved about these gowns are the way the shoulder are made with expanding option. This is so nice because when baby has a blow out, you donât have to try to be extra extra careful slipping their clothing off them and fearing you will get the mess all up their little bodies and in the hair. All you have to do is widen it, slip their arms through the neck hole and it expands open and you can slide it downward to remove, makes clean up so easy and less messy! I really like the idea also of using a fabric that is made of organic cotton. Itâs breathable and soft. These gowns are on the lighter side so if you have a winter baby, I personally donât feel it will be warm enough alone, you would need to layer with a onesie to keep them warm. However if you have a summer baby, this lightweight fabric is excellent at keeping them cool enough and not be afraid of over heating your little one. I would recommend this most for the summer babies because you can definitely utilize the light fabric and design for maximum easy use! I would also like to ad that I received these gowns through WeeSpring Parent Panel for review.
Good not Great
Gowns are a great idea but often don't work because of their size range. Our baby was born at 6 pounds and these were HUGE on him and falling off his shoulders. Even now, at 9 pounds they still don't fit the greatest. He also doesn't like that his feet get stuck in the elastic bottom. We did like that nothing needed to be zipped in the middle of the night. So, while these are absolutely adorable and the prints are so cute, the gowns did not work too well for our baby.
Very small openings head/arm openings.
These are good quality but the opening for the hands are too small! Head opening as well. I struggled to get his (newborn) hands through. I was worried as I tried to get his fingers through the arm opening that it would catch a finger and pull and hurt the baby. I bought newborn size and my grandson is not a big baby! (6 lb 8 oz). I finally got it on him and knew I'd never attempt to put it on him again. I didn't even use the second gown at all. So I'd say buy one size up!
