    just easy

Just let heat it up for 5 minutes, than put your burger or steak on it and in a few minutes dinner is ready. Great grill and easy to handle. Like the bar grip to open it and the temperature control for veggies and buns. Also the on/off switch at the side is a big security plus. Only would wish removable plates for a better cleaning in the dishwasher. But all together it works great for me.

    Great Product

These are a great. Even without having removable plates, cleanup is a breeze. All I do when I am finished cooking with it is turn it off and place some damp paper towels in it. Then it kind of steam cleans itself. Then I am able to just wipe it clean.

    Very useful product.

I've only used this grill a few times, but so far, so good. It sure saves time when cooking one or two chicken breasts or burgers - just a few minutes each. I also like that this model has a temperature control. This makes for much more accurate grilling. My older (first generation GF) grill did not have this feature. Time will tell if I experience the same problem with this one as I did the old one: one side of the grill failed to heat up. But, expecting this one to be better than my old one, I still gave it a '5' for durability.

    Pretty decent!

I like this grill. It is easy to use and easy to clean up. However, the grill pans do not come out for easier washing. You have to use a damp towel and clean the grooves where the meat sit. It gets a little annoying, since the grill cannot be submerged in water. This is still a great tool to have. It's quick, easy, and more healthy than regular cooking.

A versatile product at a great price

I bought one of the first generation "George's" over a decade ago. Five years ago, I bought a 144-sq. in. "George" that seemed a bit cumbersome for my small kitchen counter. A week ago, we purchased this model, our third "George." A perfect fit! Sits next to my coffee maker. Though some have critiqued the On/Off switch being placed where someone can get burned, I've found that's not the case at all. Another critique was that it slid on a smooth counter. I placed a dish towel underneath (which protects the counter anyway from accidental drip), and have had no slippage. The heating surface heats up rapidly, and the variable temperature adjustment allows for "browning' all the way up to "well done." The handle design allows for opening and closing, while keeping the hands a safer distance from the heating surface. Ideal for toasted sandwiches, grilling suasage, salmon, pork chops, and the usual burger and steak fare. Wiping with a damp cloth shortly after each use keeps it in top shape. This model proves you don't need a humongous cooking surface to accomplish a lot, and revolutionizes counter top cooking.
