Very nice and compact thought it would be a little flimsy but this little sucker seems to be pretty tough. Touch response is awesome and everything runs as smoothly as it should. I got this for my child for schooling and etc and this is the perfect size for him cause it's not too big and bulky. Budget friendly and does what it's supposed to do.

Good product good price.

So far, I am very impressed. The setup was fast and easy. Very compact and lightweight. Exactly what I was looking for. Touchscreen and sturdy hinge to flip the screen back. I still have some features to play around with, but so far so good. Great buy for the price.

Gateway Review

My expectation was to have a basic 2-in-1 laptop with some basic capability like browsing internet, streaming movies, Streaming local content to TV.

What I like
Good portable light weight laptop. 
Overall build quality is good. Matt finish body.
Keyboard, touchscreen is good for its price.
Amazing battery life. Net Browsing and Movie watching I am getting 10  Hrs battery.
Traditional USB 2.0 port.
Speaker sound is good.
Small Charger
1-year free Office 365.
Clear Windows installation without any adware.

What I don't like
CPU is very outdated. Basic work performance like browsing, movie watching is fine but most of the time laptop is running 100% capacity.
Could have at least a provision to increase the storage capacity
WIFI version is only 2.4.
Speaker is facing downwards.
Display panel is thicker than keyboard panel.
No narrow bezel. (New edge low cost laptop like Chuwi, Teclast, BMAX are having narrow bezel)
2-in1 integration is not perfect like 
i)	Tablet mode auto rotation does not work always.
ii)	No windows home shortcut on the display panel.
iii)	Keyboard and touch pad do not disable automatically
The function key implementation is also not user friendly like
i)	Shortcut buttons like volume etc works holding Fn key. 
ii)	There is no shortcut for Brightness.
Heat dissipation is not good, so laptop gets hot quickly (but bearable)

So overall for my purpose I am happy; only question is the durability which time will tell.

All depends on Expectation

Have been using this unit for a couple days now. I'm very pleased with the features it can offer and the performance it provides. This Gateway model is just what I needed: a second laptop that I could easily carry around for entertainment and general purposes. 

With an 11.6" FHD IPS screen I'm definitely covered. The transition of moving from a simple TN HD panel to this is glorious. Colors are sharp, viewing angles are very good and brightness is just fine (not the best experience when using outdoors). I don't use the touchscreen feature very much but comes in handy sometimes. One only con is that the screen-body ration is not the best.

Furthermore, build quality is very good considering this price point - it's a robust plain plastic that looks durable and solid. Weights around 1.2 kilograms (light but expect lighter). I've my doubts about the hinges, though. You have to apply certain force on them and they bend somewhat strangely. The top has a magnet to keep the PC locked when closed. One funny thing is that promotional stickers are placed on the back of the PC, not the front.

Peripherals are just OK. The keyboard is small, with tiny keys (that's to be expected given the size of the unit), that's no problem but it also looks cheap. It works, of course. Also the layout is unusual - delete key is above return. On the other hand, the touchpad is large enough and works better. Its buttons are very clicky but that's not an issue for me.  Camera is not good, it's dark and has a poor resolution. The sound is way better than I expected. It's worth mentioning that I don't hear anything special considering it was designed by THX, but it's clear and average.
The IO ports got you covered for basic implementations: 1 USB 3.0

Versatile little laptop for entertainment

Not the best for the price. I have paid 170-190 for a better laptop and 2-1. The only good thing bout it is windows 10. For something on the go its good but not for really doing work. I just use it so I can use design space really.  If you want a
Better laptop or computer save the money and get a good one. This is just a budget item and you get what you pay for.

Just a budget item.

Just got this laptop,  opened it up, pushed the power button,  nothing happened. Plug it to the charger, and let it charge for 30 mins,  nothing didn't come in. let it charge up till the charge light turned white,  pushed the power button,  still didn't come on. called gateway support, no help,  only option is return for replacement, can't even get a replacement now,  out of stock. So the wife doesn't get a laptop, and the next one in stock is 400$ more.  Can't even use this one to give a review, because if a bad battery.

I am bummed. This is not what I was expecting at all. When I first received the device I could not get the keyboard to work. Turns out the device needed to be updated. So I updated the device and finally after several attempts, I was able to get the keyboard to work! (We had to install it over and over again) I was doing some online shopping and the devices screen just went black and wouldn't turn back on. I don't know if my device is just faulty or not, but I'm returning this ASAP!!

Gateway to frustration.

This product is horrible..I only used it a handful of times before the screen went out. I was just a few days past the 14 day return and gateway is saying since I brought it from Walmart they can't help me so now I'm stuck with a $200 laptop that's brand new that I can't use..don't waste your money

Rip Off

I purchase 4 of these for Christmas gifts .  2 was 11.6 screens and the other 2 was a bigger screen. The screen went out on one and the other we just can not use. I contacted Walmart who told me to contact a vender and now the vendor is saying contact Walmart.

Computer does not work

I had low expectations of this computer and it couldn't even live up to those. About 5 weeks after I purchased it it began randomly shutting down and emitting a white noise sound, at top volume, that I had no way to stop. After several calls to Gateway with a combined wait time of probably two hours, without ever actually getting help of any kind, or even speaking to a person I gave up. Save your money.
