Amazing color!

I don’t usually leave reviews but this was such an amazing product I just had to. First off my hair was destroyed. I went hot pink and later had to return to normal after changing jobs. I originally used a pigmented conditioner to go brunette. At first, it was okay. But then my hair stared turning this ugly grayish green blue color. Basically death of my hair. After much research and debate I settled on Olia as it is ammonia free and I have to say I’m completely impressed! Hair feels healthy and silky. Color is solid and beautiful. I read prior reviews about not having enough product. I have shoulder length thin hair and I had just the right amount. IF you have thick hair I would highly recommend getting two boxes. the color is right on. Warm dark brown. It’s the closest to my natural color I’ve ever gotten. Very happy and satisfied. I’ll update in a couple washes, but so far I’m very happy with the results and couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Could be stronger

I bought two boxes of 3.11 darkest platinum brown. I quickly could tell that there wasn't much developer. The developer bottle is twice as big volume wise than the actually developer content. It seemed very empty. The egg shaped bottle is extremely slippery and not good for gripping. It fell out of my hand several times while coloring and squeezing the bottle actually misshaped the thread area that the top screws on leaving air seeping out of the bottle so product wasn't squeezing out correctly. I used two bottles and I have med length hair. I'll be honest, by the time I got to the ends of my hair, product was running thin and I could have used more. In terms of color, in the shade it looks dark but in the light it looks way too light and even red. Not what I was hoping for. I think next coloring I'll go straight to black and use Revlon. Revlon is cheaper and the color is solid. I do admit however olia hair dye smells nice and that is a plus.

Beautiful Color

I had balayage done a year before dying my hair and was tired of the bleachy blonde look and wanted to even out my hair color while keeping the highlights. This worked so nicely! I dyed the roots and non-dyed hair first and left it for 20 minutes before doing the highlights. Loved how it turned out! There was a little red in the front that you can not see in this picture but I was not surprised as my hair naturally has some reddish undertones. Left my hair soft and shiney!

Very Disappointed with Color

I agree with the other reviewer - BROWN is not red, or light Auburn. Is it possible that you have had a quality control issue? I have used this shade in the past - see first two photos in the black sweater, and the latest results after using the color again - last night with BROWN hair, as you can see in the "not so happy face" photo. I purchased 3 boxes and am not happy about it. It usually takes two boxes to cover my hair length....My natural hair color is all gray, and I color about every 4-5 weeks, and even the roots were brown this time, so it is not a color mixture issue with my color processed hair, or I would have expected to see a difference between the roots and the rest of the hair - right? I am hoping it will lighten in the next few days, but was very disappointed with the lack of consistent results. I hope I can get back to where I was before easily - light auburn, NOT BROWN. I love the product for its fragrance, and generally everything else about its use......but not the color - THIS TIME - .....What happened????

Great color

I had my hair professionally colored dark brown in November, it’s now February and it had significantly faded. I decided to try olia 5.03 because I did not want the brassy/red tones and was hoping the neutral in the 5.03 would prevent that. I love the color but my roots are definitely brassy. This was right after I dyed and blow dried. We’ll see how it goes, hopefully it will not continue to become worse.
