I've been using an auxiliary cable for years & thought I'd upgrade to Bluetooth. After a lot of research I found GoGroove. This thing is amazing. It's actually slightly better than my auxiliary cable. I haven't had any interference or lost connections. The sound is crisp & clear. I've had it for about three weeks & have yet to charge the battery, using it about five hours a week. The only drawback is that you have to re-pair it each time you use it. A minor issue to an otherwise terrific product.

Connect 2 non-bluetooth items
Bought both this receiver and a Gogroove transmitter to connect a TV's audio to an "AUX" port on a car stereo in my RV. I can now hear my TV through the built in speakers in my RV without running wires across the ceiling. THe directions that came with the units do not tell you how to connect them to each other. But when you press and hold the button on each at the same time until they stop blinking they will connect to each other.
The GOgroove Blue Gate is awesome .
This is just what I was looking for. You can move it from device to device and it connects to any Bluetooth. I use it with my IPhone and my iPad and it works great. The battery life is about 10 to 12 hours. It charges easy from ether your computer USB or from another USB power supply. Great price also.
Makes my old stereo into a Bluetooth stereo
The blue-tooth GOgroove receiveer works as advertised. Instead of discarding an older great sounding stereo, I connected this to my stereo and it becomes a blue-tooth receiver. I play my songs from my iPhone and the sound is great quality. I plan on buying another one. Much cheaper that buying a new blue-tooth stereo.
Wireless is the only way
Some folks may opt to purchase this Bluetooth receiver (NOT transceiver) to remove the hassle of connecting the aux jack to their device. Some may have it because of their dislike for cables. In some instances the aux cable is located in the glove box. Not the one under the armrest, but the one on the passenger side. Whatever your reason, this Bluetooth receiver works as intended and should satisfy your need. The wireless sound it sends to your car speakers is the same as playing your radio. It is a lot smaller than it looks online and it appears to be a bit fragile, but it does work really well. Pairing it was extremely easy, but there could be a couple concerns. You must remember to charge it every of couple days. It does not automatically pick up your device upon entering your car, so you will have to hold down the button on the receiver to activate/pair the unit....everytime. There's one other issue that may only affect a few. If you have a Bluetooth headset, you may have to get to a certain distance from your car before your headset will take over and connect to your device. You may have to turn your headset on and off a couple times to connect or figure out how to set up Bluetooth priorities for each unit. Overall, for the price, I would definitely recommend it.
Keep Trying to Pair, it's Worth It
The print in manual so small, I had to use magnifying glass to read it. Finally found out when to execute the Blue-Tooth pairing (blinking red-blue). It really does need three hours to fully charge up. I have mine on a Y cable, with two mutually exclusive audio devices feeding one AUX RCA L-R connector. Pairing was not immediate, but eventually it worked ! Well worth the 15 minutes required to activate it. Recommended.
It kicks off bluetooth when it charges
I can't leave it plugged into my car with a charger because everytime the power gets turned on(ie everytime I start the car) it will kickoff Bluetooth so you have to touch the tiny little button on the side of it to reconnect. Since I make a lot short trips every day in my car it is better to charge it up at home.
