Every now and then I'll pick it up and dump the extra litter in the trash (there's not really ever enough to bother dumping it back in like the product description suggests), which is really easy to do, and then I set it back down and forget it again. Definitely recommend to reduce litter around the house.

Overall very nifty. Doesn't bother the cat, I think he actually likes it. He's kind of a neat freak. The only thing I would nit pick is the fold in the middle. I did let it sit underneath some really heavy things for quite a few days on top of a cement floor.. still, upon removing it, it had the bend/crease. I was able to pull my litter box up enough to sit right on that, and hoping with time it does flatten out.
Over all, great product.
