Decent cook top.

It's a decent cook top. If you do a lot of cooking, bring two-three of your larger pans to set onto and see how they fit. Mine seems like a tight squeeze but works good enough to cook for just myself and husband.

Complete Product Failure, and Misleading Specs

Complete product failure. We bought in October of 2023, and the bottom completely dropped out in mid January 2024 (see photos). Appliance Factory and GE worked to get us a replacement, a process that took nearly 4 weeks. On top of that - looking at the schematic, we were led to believe that the product had a height of 3.75 incges or so. Turns out, the box with all of the wiring hangs down close to 6 inches from the top, necessitating cabinet modifications, cutting down drawers, and general hassle all around for us. We have the new one installed, so we will see how it goes . . .

    My favorite!

    My favorite of all the appliances we bought for kitchen appliance upgrade! So easy to use! Easy to cook multiple items with red light controls on the cooktop itself. Cleans well.

    Getting use to new stovetop

    I have been getting adjusted to new stove top. My old one only had 4 burners, my new one has 5. Burners heat up pots really quickly and cook so nicely. Didn't think I would like the front controls but I have gotten accustomed to them and love the lock button. Over all I am very happy with the stove top.

    GREAT FEATURES!!!

    I had replaced an old one which was my first experience with a cooktop. The GE Profile is a great replacement. Its sleek looking, has 5 burners and even a synchronized burner. The best feature about this GE Profile Cooktop, it has NO dials. It's all touch top. This makes it so easy to clean and you do not have to worry about cleaning around the knobs. It also detects when some liguid is sprayed on it, it beeps so with one touch I usually lock the whole cooktop to clean Very easy and just having that lock capability if you have young children

    Love It!

    After 13 years it was finally time to replace our old GE Profile Cooktop. We new GE makes great products and we never had any problems with our old cooktop other than cosmetics of being used over the last decade plus. We decided to get another GE Profile and we "Love It"! The touch controls are easy to use and the quick boil feature works great. My wife loves the fact that you can sync the two burners on the left so she can make homemade pancakes with a large griddle. Our previous model only had four burners but the 5th burner is handy for those large family gatherings. We've had this unit for about 2 months and we've used it at least 70 times already between breakfast and dinner with no issues. if you're looking for a great product then lo...
