Awesome

This thing is amazing! Instantaneously heats the pot or pan when you take it off the stove top the stove top is warm. Not hot where it'll burn somebody but the pan is what gets hot

Not worth buying

I bought a GE cook top and 3 GE dishwashers for a new home. A year and a half later and several trips out by a service guy we're ready to just throw them all away and switch them out with a different brand. The service guy said the control unit is bad on the cook top and it's not worth fixing. The dishwashers have had multiple problems. Once we fix one thing something else breaks.

    Cooks 5 star, cleans 3 star

    I love, love, love cooking with this. It is my first induction and exceeds my hopes. However, a tiny bit of pasta water spilled on the surface and I have not been able to get it completely clean. I had followed G.E.'s instructions to the letter, using Ceramabryte after each use in order to the cooktop. After the spill, I used the burnt on grease remover too, even though the stain is not a grease stain. There is still a slight haze where the spill occurred.

    Disappointed..glass cooktop scratches easily

    The glass stove top scratches very easily. We have new cookware and clean the surface of the cooktop prior to using. There is nothing abrasive on the surface when cooking, the pans are not slid across the surface but we have 2 scratches within the first week.

    Experience with GE Cooktop and products

    THIS IS A GOOD COOKTOP. THIS IS MY SECOND GE INDUCTION PRODUCT. MY OTHER STOVE WAS A SLIDE IN WHICH IS SUPERIOR TO THE COOKTOP. I AM A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED WHICH IS WHY I GAVE IT 3 STARS. THE INDUCTION COOKTOP DOES NOT HAVE THE POWER AS THE SLIDE IN STOVE COOKTOP WHICH COOKS MUCH FASTER. FASTER THAN A GAS STOVE FOR SURE. BUT NOT THIS COOKTOP.
