Just received this a week ago. We purchased two. One for under each car. The long lines run the length of your vehicle so should be easy to sweep out snow bombs in the winter. The salt was ruining the floor. I can see it catching the rain now so I think this is doing its job. Little to no plastic smell in the beginning and none a week later.

Plastic rug is doing its job.
This is exactly what we was looking for. It lays snuggly to the floor. It's been down for a week now. Easy to clean off. I would reorder again.
I redid my garage - painted the walls and ceilings and did acrylic painting on the floor. However, the tire heat peels off the paint underneath. So, need this Floor Cover to protect the salt and snow from corroding off my garage flooring. Lets see if this works. \n
Protects garage floor
I purchased two of these mats, one per car. Last year I had the garage floor skim coated as it was deteriorating. I then applied epoxy paint. The paint did not last particularly where car tires keep driving over it. These mats are the ticket I think to protect the floor from deteriorating again. I swept the floor and rolled them out. Didn't take long at all. The edges flattened out over a couple of days. So far I'm quite satisfied. I first tried to push them together but in the end I left about an inch between them as it is difficult to get them to line up exactly edge to edge all the way down. Perhaps my floor is not flat enough to do so or it is the way the material is cut.
So far so good
It's been down in my garage for a month and I really like this. Putting a finish on my cement garage floor would have been about 3 times the cost and would probably have not stood up well to time and the elements. It'll be interesting to see how this does after a couple of years though I suspect it'll be ok.
Easy and affordable
I recently had a lot of work done on my garage, which included painting the ceiling, walls and floor. After organizing everything I noticed that I needed to put something on the floor to protect the paint since I like to put the car in the garage. Being a single mom I wanted something affordable and easy to install. I ordered the G floor pad on line, picked it up at the store and my teenage daughters rolled it out on the floor, easy as 1,2,3. It gives the garage a very nice look also and I had no problems with the settling of the pad. I'm very happy with the purchase, delivery, and installation .
Nice alternative to epoxy covering
My garage floor isn't in the best shape. I've investigated epoxy but didn't like the price or potential reliability issues (coming up with hot tires). I installed 2 in my standard 2 car garage. It was in the mid-30s in western NY and gave the pads a few days to unravel. I swept the floor and used a leaf blower to try and clean up the concrete before final placement. Like others said, unroll from the garage door towards the house so that the most curled part is not at your entrance. I dry fit the pads and left about a 1/8" gap between them since they were not perfectly square and also to account for any expansion or shrinkage with temperature variances. I also made sure that the pads were just short of where the garage door makes contact with the concrete to avoid any issues with the pad coming up with the door. I then used a strip of Roberts 50-550 Double-Sided Acrylic Adhesive around the parameter of the pad to hold it down. It seems to hold well. I attached 2 pictures of them after a week of use. The roads are salty and there has been some snow. The pads will show dirt as seen in the pictures, however, it's really easy to clean. I use a push broom since I've put away my garden hose but think they'll clean very nice with a hose once the weather warms up. Overall, very pleased! I only wish they were longer/wider at this price point so I could have gone 100% coverage.
The Garage is now a Clean & Shiny Workspace
This garage floor covering is easy to install and can be cut to fit perfectly around corners and posts. I bought the tape to keep pieces together and found that it was not necessary. The weight of the flooring was enough to keep things smooth and connected. I was under the impression that the flooring had a 'diamond' pattern -- so I was somewhat surprised by the channel lines. In order to make them work I had to redesign the placement so any dust or fluid would drain out the front of the garage. In other words, the channels had to all be going one direction -- which I did not realize beforehand and would have liked to have known.
Parking Pad Garage Floor Cover Slate Grey
Very quick delivery of product that was well packaged to protect during shipment. Product was easy to put down once garage was cleared of storage cabinets etc. layed out nicely and the tightly rolled end layed out flat after a couple of hours. Garage floor never looked better and wished we had used these pads prior to staining the garage floor that did not last long at all. Would have given a 5 star rating but the lengths varied a bit on all three that we used.
For the most part -good
The mats are heavy duty and look nice, but the only problem is the ends curl up. We even flipped them the opposite way and parked on them. The next day, we flipped them back to the way it was supposed to be, but the ends curled back up a little. We then weighted them down. Took the weights off and the same thing happened - they curled on the end. This causes a trip hazard. I had a set of mats before that included these plastic pieces for the ends - they didn't roll up and were great.
