Our house burned and the contractor told us to pick out replacement appliances. We picked out all Frigidaire brand appliances for their good record. The stove is the best and I do recommend it very much. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Simple and reliable!
A friend bought this for us as a gift and we're so grateful. Our old oven too twenty minutes to heat up but this reaches baking temp in about five minutes. Wonderful. The controls are uncomplicated and behind and above the burners--just what we've wanted. No more worry that brushing against the range will set a burner blazing. Bought this 1 month ago and I love it. I have to get use to the setting still. It cooks much faster than my old range. I really wanted the 5th burner but didn't realize it was just a warm zone. Don't care much for it- could do perfect with just the 4 burners instead. The only reason I give it a 4- star is because the stains after cleaning are too visible on the the glass top, it's harder to maintain clean. Otherwise I love it! Good range, for the money! But...
I like this range, but the "new smell" has not gone away and I've had it for over a month now. Also, I had a salted pot of water boil over and now the stains are there permanently. I can't seem to get them out. It does heat water, etc extremely quickly! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Not what I expected.
Buy appliances without seeing and touching them is not advice I would give. Range works well and as described and oven bakes consistently and is large and has a super bright light. However, the exterior seems thin and flimsy. The buttons on the display for oven and timer/clock controls feel like if you push them too hard the display will break. Definitely is not the quality I expected for an oven with these reviews and for that price tag. Additionally, if you bump the glass on the oven door it feels as though it bounces some and just feels like it is not a quality product. While it is an upgrade from our old range, I would not purchase it again if I could go back. You can see in attached videos that just pushing the buttons moves the entire display. Lightly pushing on the oven door and gently pulling the handle rattles the entire front. Just seems flimsy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Decent Unit, but bad Quality Control issue
I purchased the stove new about 6 months ago. I was very happy with it up until this morning. Went to use range top for breakfast, and thrre was an electrical flash from behind the top panel. It tripped the breaker. After pulling out the unit to inspect, noticed burn mark (photo attached) on shield. After unplugging the range, removed shield to find three white electrical components loose and detached. One of them had come in contact with the back metal shield creating a direct short. After some searching on-line, determined that the electrical components are 125 volt indicator lights that were supposed to be attached to backside of three indicator light lenses that denote "Hot Surface", "On (oven)" and "On (surface burners). These lenses were never installed in the 3 empty holes (photo attached) on the front of the panel. My wife and I never understood from day-one why there were three small, empty holes on the front panel. Now we know. Very poor quality control from factory... not sure how this unit left the factory in this condition. Now I need to find correct lenses on-line, order & install. Not happy despite this being a good, reliable unit. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
