I had to google Franklin&#39;s website to find out that it is a 4-5. The helmet fits my 2-year-old (who is small for his age) a little big, and the jersey and pants are too long and hang on him. I ran a 36-inch shoestring around the waist to make it adjustable and rolled the pants. He loves it and will get many years of wear.

Forget the princess costumes, these football jersey sets are great.  Great fun for dress up for both boys and girls.  My 6 year old wore this all day and didn't complain once.  I liked how the helmet came with the chin strap to keep it on.  Will def use for Halloween too!

Every little boy or girls dream come true

This is a very realistic and authentic uniform for little football players. My son is 6 years old and i am trying to get him watch and understand NFL. This set definitely made him interested in the game. He promised me to watch few 49ers games with me this NFL season. Also he told me that he does not want any halloween costume this year as he wants to dress up like NFL player. So win win situation for both of us.
On the product side, the the jersey and pants fit fine and best part is helmet. Make sure you choose the right size for your kid. The helmet has nice cushioning inside but its bit bigger for my son as of now. The chin strap is also bit big and it does not stay at his chin and there is no way to reduce the size of chin strap also. I wish it was adjustable. The set comes with many numbers, so you could customize it based on your favorite player.

Excellent

My family is full of sports fans and we have a lot of 49ers fans! My 7 year old son loves this uniform costume set! He has literally been wearing it all over the place and even asked to wear it over to my parent's house for a family dinner! Everyone thought he was really cute in it. This will also make a great Halloween costume for him! All of the pieces are really well made and this is a great deal for the price. Realistic uniform!

The Franklin Sports NFL Youth Licensed Deluxe Uniform Set is such a cute set for the kid who loves football.  Now that football season is coming up, this will be a must-have for any kid who loves football and wants to be just like their favorite football hero.  I also think that this could make a good Halloween costume come October.  What kid doesn't want to go around the neighborhood as their favorite NFL star?!  I wouldn't recommend kids using this uniform for protection while playing actual football, but would be great for dress up! This NFL Youth Uniform set made by Franklin made to the list of my nephew's most favorite birthday gift. For any boy who's in the football and want to dress up like a real pro, this set has all the essentials from the chin guard to the actual outfit with pants. I got him the 49ers and with the football season starting, he just couldn't wait to wear it. So term of quality, it's good enough for kids' play or just to wear as a cool costume. Perfect gift for boys

i got this for my friend's 6 year old son, he loves it so muchhhhhhhh!!!!  he is a supper fan of the 49ers and he watched almost every game they played. when i gave it to him, he put on it immediately and ask me to take lots of picture for him!!! he played with it the next morning and just loved the product, the color is very nicely bright and it matches with his shoes. he wear it all day long and cannot get rid of it. gift for friend

Awesome uniform for kids.  Great for playtime, dress-up, Halloween, pretend, etc.  We also got the “Franklin Sports Youth Shoulder Pads (Costume)” to go along with and complete the outfit.  Note, these are what I consider costume pieces, not for real football play.  Pretty decent quality material.  Love the attention to detail, eg the chin strap for the helmet and the iron on numbers.  For playtime, you don't really need it but my son just loves the total package and tries to sleep in the helmet, lol.  My niece is always flouncing around in her princess dresses and so I wanted to get something my son could play with/in.  We originally got this for Halloween but given that football season is starting, he can wear it while watching football with daddy.  I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.

Awesome Uniform for Kids! Great for Halloween.

This deluxe uniform set is very realistic.  It is actually really nice as a Halloween costume alternative and the best part is that it already comes with everything so you don't need to buy extra accessories. You get the uniform with vivid rich colors and a team helmet and chin strap.  Also for your little footballer you get to choose your favorite team and the iron on numbers let's your youngster pick which player he wants to dress up as. Great Halloween outfit or way to show team spirit

This is a nicely made outfit.  Jersey is realistic with pants. .  On this site it states a medium is for 12 years and up.  That is ridiculous, I doubt the pants would fit an 8 year old,  The jersey shirt  would just fit an 8 year old.  I bought the outfit for an 11 year old.  Helmet is great!   The helmet is why I am not returning this item.  At the Franklin Sports site itself it says a medium size would fit up to 9 years old, not 12 and older.  I only recommend it hoping you read this review and see the true size of the clothing.
