I tried a couple of other ammo storage boxes but this is by far the best and it won't leave rust stains on your carpet in the closet where you store your guns and ammo.

Great ammo box
nice box says it is made of material that helps to prevent rusting. solid storage can. not for use to FILL with heavy stuff but stiff to keep seal when lifting
Large and air tight
I wanted a larger ammo box with a rubber seal so I could use a dessicant air dryer inside. This fits the bill. It may not be 100% air tight, but the seal is very good. While the box is more sturdy than most plastic boxes, you probably can't put 30+ lbs. in it and carry it without the lid flexing considerably. My box just sits on the floor.
Good storage box
Bought this to use as a "kit" for kayaking. I keep a small anchor, line, dry bags, etc in it to take kayaking versus having all the items loose.
The product was as advertised. Excellent quality. Rugged construction.
Flambeau 14" Boxes are a better value than Plano
I got 3 of the Tactical version, along with the 2pc discounted deal. The 2pc is marked as Outdoor, yet is exactly the same as the Tactical, only for less $$$. I am giving 2 as gifts to family members helping with the remodeling of our new home in Tupelo. The other 3, I will use 2 to hold supplies for ammo, etc and one for emergency supplies in my car. Looks to be good construction, etc. Much, much better price than Dick's Sporting Goods; saved over $25 on this deal......
Keeps your powder dry
Purchased to store ammo. Easily holds a dozen or more 50 round boxes of 9mm or .40 s&w. Throw a couple packets of desiccant in the box and even in a slightly damp basement your ammo should stay bone dry. It's worth investing less than $13 to keep $150+ worth of ammo safe and dry. These storage boxes appear to be waterproof and fairly sturdy but I suspect the plastic would crack if you dropped them and I sure wouldn't submerge them in water. The handles are sufficient for light use carrying 30 pounds or so. Any amount of rough use would probably be the death of these boxes. If you plan to throw your ammunition around purchase metal ammo cans. Walmart shipped this item lighting quick and I must say pickup was very quick and easy unlike some of my past ship-to-store experiences. By the way this item had a 'Made In America' sticker on it so that was a plus in my opinion.
great box for storage
its made of plastic but very sturdy it has a tray with handle
Good-Value Dry Storage Box
This is a good value dry storage box for storing ammo and taking it to the range. I like the fact that it will accommodate a padlock for security purposes and the handle is sturdy and will not come off like other storage boxes do. The upper storage area is also convenient as is the single level tray that fits on top of the inside of the box. Good value, fast shipping to the store and received undamaged. Bought four of them for Christmas presents and they were well received.
Good quality for the price point
Box feels strained when fully loaded with ammo. More of a dry or food box for camping. Or dry storage for ammo, but NOT for carrying ammo back and forth as if fully loaded, strains the box. Top compartment is handy, but the lid clips are not particularly secure, and require 2 hands to open the lid, one for each clip on both sides, which I find annoying. Handle is strong and comfortable. I purchased 2, and 1 closes much better than the other with a slightly crooked lid. It still closes, but it's noticeably less convenient to use than the one without the crooked lid.
