this tracker really does it all, and is not overly large (or small). My only issue is the band. the silicone is reminiscent of the old cheep watches of the 80's that made your wrist sweat. Other fit bits have cloth bands you can purchase to replace the silicone but I cant find one for this model anywhere. I have found leather ones but Im afraid to wear that type swimming.

Horrible - inaccurate; functional issues
By far the worse gadget I've ever come across. 1) Charging is a hassle (magnetic forces are not adequate to keep the charger and device together) 2) Readings are ridiculously INACCURATE when GPS is not used. It does not have GPS on it own but feeds GPS info from your cellphone (which means you have to carry it along when Walking, Running, Biking and doing other outdoor sports).... well, there are plenty of apps that will accurately measure distances, speeds, etc. so if I am going to carry my phone in order to use this gadget why not just use my phone? Oh, did you say: "... but this device measures your Heart Rate"? It is supposed to..... and it does give you numbers! But how accurate are those numbers? Let me tell you, it is a joke.... just worthless! Steps count(reading) is always more than 30% than the actual number(just try it and will find out). And it does NOT work with most gym machines(climber, elliptical stepmaster, etc). 3) FUNCTIONAL ISSUES: when jerking/rotating your forearm to have the display face you, it is supposed to turn on. Well, mine does it about 50% of the time - so I have to use my other hand to manually tap on the display so it can turn on (btw, the display stays on only for about 3 seconds). There are so many other annoyances

I had a Fitbit that quit working and bought another brand that was similar. It had a weird process to charge it which broke off in less than a month. Replaced it with the Fitbit Inspire HR which I should have done in the first place.

Very good for anyone with sleep or heart problems

I never thought I would ever buy one of these, as I am not an athlete so I never thought I would have use for one. However, I have been having sleep problems and heart palpitations, so I thought this would be a good gauge to see how my sleep patterns and heart rate is doing. It is unbelievable how well it can track everything. I took an hour and a half nap and it actually recorded it. I turned over a couple times and it tracked it. Throughout the night, the first night I wore it, my sleep patterns were average for women my age (which it shows on the app under "benchmark") but the second night, I had very little deep sleep and only slept for 6 and a half hours (which I knew, but the fitbit confirmed it.) It's amazing how much I've learned about myself just in the short two days I've had this. I never knew before that heart rates go up after eating. This fitbit has really helped me realize that I need to exercise to get my heart in better shape. This is actually my third day wearing it. Others have stated that their battery doesn't last, but going on three days and the battery is at 59%, I'd say it's pretty good. I haven't charged it yet except right out of the box before putting it on. Another thing I like about it is that it notifies me when I get a text message by vibrating. Sometimes I can't hear my phone, so this is great. It's also nice to just glance at my wrist to see who texted, instead of having to dig out my phone from my purse. I haven't tried the alarm yet (I'm a little scared to, in case I don't wake up) but my next day off, I will try it for sure. The app is really helpful and easy to read. It has an option for premium which is $9.99 a month or $79 a year. It comes with more in-depth features. For instance, it adds the "restoration" sleep feature that shows when your heart beat was above and below your average resting number. I really don't think that's worth the extra money. The cost for the fitbit itself is definitely worth the $99. I'd like to get my daughter one since she faints, is dizzy, and short of breath often, and doctors don't know why. It would be interesting to see what her normal heart rate is. One thing I forgot to mention, I purchased the lilac mainly because I liked the font that it showed in the photo, but you can change the font (clock face) in the app. It has several to choose from. Had I known that, I would have just bought the black one.

Works well!

Tracking works well! I like the automatic exercise recognition. I only gave it four stars because the face is a little thicker than I'd like. Overall, a great value!!!

1. You can clean wristband on lilac and white by doing the following: 1. Wipe down the band with a non-abrasive, lint-free cloth. 2. If needed, you can hand wash the band in cold water with mild soap, making sure to rinse thoroughly. 3. Let the band air dry.
