LOVE THIS CHAIR!!

We are on baby number 2 and 4 years ago my mom purchased this for her house for our first child. we had a traditional high chair and found that, while we liked it, it just was not portable enough. We decided to ditch the full size chair and go with this one. I am so glad we did! i can move the chair from room to room with ease, it is small enough to go in the car with us on trips. Baby can join us in the living room as this can set right on the floor. The picture is spot on as far as color and pattern go and the full recline with one hand is lovely! baby loves this and having it on my own kitchen chair rocks. i can hide it in a closet if need be and not have to struggle with a "foldable" full size chair. it is very sturdy (the 4 year old one at my mom's house is still going strong and it gets a ton of use.) this also converts to a toddler seat! i just can't say enough about this and it looks like there is a pattern out there for every taste too! Even fits on our patio chairs!

This space saver is great! I have twins, so 2 full sized high chairs were out of the question. This assembles in less than 5 minutes (no husband required, and don't even have to read the directions!) Reclines easily and smoothly with one hand. I highly recommend this seat. Don't try to go cheap and get the 1st Years one....that seat is TERRIBLE. Spend the extra money and get this one, you won't be disappointed.

It was easy to put together and my little girl loves it. We haven't started her on solids yet, but she likes being up high so she can see things and the different reclining positions helped me feel comfortable putting her in it even before she really hold her head up. Having the tray on keeps her toys close enough that she can reach them while I'm cooking dinner, etc. I like that the material is easy to clean (wipes clean pretty easy - or just wash it, but i haven't done that yet) and I really like that it's not vinyl like my mom's which makes my girl sweaty and then she sticks to it- this one is a much softer material. I also like that there are shoulder straps, but that they can be removed later. The only reason it's not a 5 star is that the tray has to be in just the right position to go on, so it's not as quick/easy as I would like it to be, but still, not a big issue.

As a mother of 4 I've used my share of high chairs and this is by far my favorite. I can feed my son at the table or in the living room while sitting on the floor with it. He also enjoys sitting in it and playing with his toys. While not in use it can stay clipped to the dining room chair or tuck away neatly under our wine rack. I also plan on taking it on our family camping trip. Will definately be buying this product in a couple of years for our next child. I would just re-use this one but it will we converted to a booster seat by then. That makes me love it even more!

Awesome Highchair

This is my second highchair like this as my 2 year old is still using his. It's awesome when you don't have a lot of space. I dont have the issue of it being too far away from the table when used as a booster seat as we moved the arms downward with the tray adjust instead of leaving them in a level position.

  • A. I have owned a few of these, and only replaced just for the new chair pad (am still not sure if FP lets you buy just the seat cover?). The 1st 2 were more padded plastic and this last one is more cloth. Care instructions on the plastic-y ones say spot clean, but I have had great results washing on cold and line drying. Cloth seats are def washable. Now I see homemade seat pads for sale online. Very cute! I would recommend this chair. Price is right, and the chair is durable and portable.

  • A. Cloth, not plastic! While you can "wipe" it as advertised it definitely needs a frequent machine washing. Not the seat for you if you're looking for one of the slick plastic/vinyl ones that can truly be wiped down.

  • A. It is a cloth, very similar to the one in the car seat or stroller, similar, not the same. It´s not sticky for the baby, so he doesn´t get sweaty on it, but it´s at the same time easy cleaning.

I was wondering if this folds up or is easy for traveling on trips. I want to use it when I visit family on long trips.

  • A. It is relatively portable but does not fold up much smaller than shown. You can take off the tray to make it a bit less wide, and take off the upper half of the seat back to make it less high (but then have to figure out where to put the tray and chair back in your vehicle). I take this all the time to family events. It straps securely onto almost any dining-type chair.
