We liked this chair so much we purchased two - one for our home and one for my mom's. It works great from birth to toddler. When our babies were very little we would bring it into the kitchen for them to sit in reclined while we cleaned the kitchen or they would recline in it during our meals. When they got bigger it was easy to adjust their level of recline so we could feed them their first foods. When they were able to eat finger foods we added the tray, and when they were ready to eat on the table we removed the tray and pushed them right up to the big table. Really great and versatile, highly preferred over a traditional high chair.

Hi My sister bought 1 of theses for her kids and I thought it was the coolest thing ever cause my kids were already grown and having kids of there own .So I bought 1 for my home and 1 for my granddaughter which used it from birth and now is 2 1/2 and still uses this high chair and I see that she might even get a few more years out of it . Every 1 that sees it wish that they had gotten the same high chair . It's easy to clean up and I will be buying another 1 this year for my new grandson . I also love that it's a space saver and at times I have even took it to gatherings ,parties and restuants cause it just straps onto a chair .

I have used many different attach-to-chair baby seats, and this one is the absolute best! It is easy to put together, attach to chair, and take apart for cleaning. I throw the straps and cover into the washing machine and they come out great (I air-dry the straps). I will say it's comical that the tray is "dishwasher safe" because I'm not sure how anyone could fit that thing into a dishwasher. However, I've used one with a removable tray and that wasn't much help either. It's not too hard to wipe down a tray.

We compared the high chairs from Fisher-Price and from The First Years (http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3687550). Fisher-Price wins in almost every aspects. All moving parts of the Fisher-Price high chair are well-designed and it apparently is more durable than The First Year high chair. Particularly, the tilting mechanism is much easier to operate on the Fisher-Price chair. However, the Fisher-Price high chair has two fatal problems so we have to buy the other one: 1. The Fisher-Price chair is too high. The seat itself is almost as high as the tabletop itself. I cannot imagine how a toddler could eat from the table comfortably. 2. The armrest on Fisher-Price prevents us to push the chair close to the table. These are the two problems happen with our dining table. Maybe they are not a problem with yours.

love, love, love this booster seat! It take up less space in my small dinning room. The pattern and color is awesome for my little boy, but would work for a girl too. My 2 month old love being at the table with us as we eat and the recline fetcher allows that. It was worth the money and It will be so easy to take it on our family Vacation. Way Better then a highchair.

Washable, soft fabric that repels liquids. Fits nicely on my chairs, very stable. Easy to remove and carry, even for this grandma. The tray can be removed with one hand. Most of all, the baby sits very comfortably, with no risk of sliding out or twisting around, and the adjustable tray leaves no space between it and the baby's tummy to collect missed food.

Love this portable high chair. I'm a grandma and my granddaughter does not come over every day. This portable high chair saves space and easy to use. I love that is will turn into a booster chair when she gets older. The chair hold firmly in the kitchen chair. Great for traveling. Would recommend this chair. Nice looking too.

We have a small dining room, so this was ideal for us because we didn't have to find room for a full-sized highchair. The chair sits up and reclines easily, and the tray slides on and off without much trouble.

    • A. No grip strips. It has a plastic bottom with four small rubber circles in the corners and then the two buckles with nylon webbing to secure it to the chair. I have a cloth covered chair and it's very stable. My mom has a similar space savor that she keeps for the g-kids on a wood chair and that one is very secure as well - it doesn't slip around, just make sure the buckles are nice and tight.

    • A. The booster seat does not have grip strips, but at each of the 4 corners it has 1/2" rubber round 1/4" high feet. This seems to be ample traction and my grandson weighs 17 lbs. and with his weight it is a good grip. See my review for additional information.

    • A. There are a couple of little grippies, but not long strips. You could always add strips, but the straps that secure it to the chair seem to work pretty well. One goes under the chair and one goes around the back to prevent any movement.

    • A. It's closer to cloth than vinyl. The tag only made reference to the filling: polyester fiber. It's a soft material that doesn't make my child sweaty/sticky, but still relatively easy to wipe off (maybe slightly water-resistant), but would still soak up a spilled drink or juices/sauces left on there.

    • A. It doesn't fold, but you can detach the back so it's more like a booster seat and carry/pack it in pieces, which might be easier if you're flying somewhere. If you just taking it over to a friend's house, it's probably best to just keep it in one piece. The only straps it has are the two that connect it to the chair (one for the back of the chair and one for the seat of the chair). It's really lightweight too.
