My older daughter said: If I had such I'd go potty and gooooooo, hahahaha) The one motivates to take the paper and to flush.. it's simply giving the instructions with the help of songs. I do adore this potty and I'm in love with all Fisher-Price products. They always meet expectations and even more. The quality of Fisher-Price plastic is always perfect- it's good for years usually for some generations of little sweet munchkins.

First I have to say this is a cute little potty that my son does love. We even went the extra mile and added some stickers with my son's name to personalize it for him. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this is because I have a boy and the potty praises him after he uses the restroom then sings a toilet paper song. The problem with this is after he pees he thinks he needs toilet paper because the potty said so. I try explaining that boys need tp only after #2 but it just confuses him because he does like the songs. Also, my suggestion is if you buy this potty to find the off button quick and turn it off when the child is not using it! LOL This thing goes off with the slightest bit of moisture. The sensors that detect the potty in order to set off the music is very sensitive. We'll hear it going off in the middle of the night when we're all asleep or when no one is in there. Annoying! We have not gotten rid of it because my son seems to like it.

I wanted a potty that stayed true to looking like the big potty. I got it for my 12-month-old because she is really smart and curious, so I thought she would just get used to it being in the bathroom and would one day show an interest. She took to it right away! We love that it plays music as soon as she goes and the flushing action is pretty neat, too. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the toilet seat comes off with no effort, so my daughter likes to pull the pieces off as she's walking out the door. It is made this way for easy cleaning/dumping (no pun intended) and to move the ring to the big potty, but it should come with a latch or something to make it a little harder for little ones to pull apart.

I purchased this potty a few months before I planned on potty training to get my son use to the potty. What got my attention towards buying this potty was my son loved the lights when flushing it and that the seat could be placed on the big potty. Some of the issues I've had with it the few times I used it was the sensors for the music to trigger never went off when he went potty into it. It usually triggered while I was cleaning it. If you have a child that likes the the flushing feature be prepared for them wanting to get up or keep turning to try to flush it instead of going potty. The next issue was cleaning it. If you have a child that does a decent size poop the small bowl may not hold everything and then gets all over the seat area. That in turns makes two pieces you need to clean. For boys the splash guard didn't seem high enough. Not once so far has my son managed to pee without making a mess even with help. Almost all the pee ends up on the floor. This potty might work for some but for us we didn't have as good of luck. After paying $30 for the features and them not working properly it seemed like a big waste of money. I need to buy another potty to use upstairs and I will be going with a simple design with a high splash guard.

My 2 year old finally used this potty the other day and was so happy when the potty started singing and praising her! It has sensors in the bowl and when she went potty, it played different music than when its handle is "flushed". (Which she loves doing constantly since the potty says "Yay!" and blue lights glow to simulate water every time the handle is pressed down.) Easy to remove and clean the bowl as well.

The concept is cute but needs some work. When they potty it leaks through the sensors onto the floor. It also detects moisture so it randomly sings at anytime including middle of the night! Another thought, when they poop it's really hard to clean the sensors. So it's cute but not very useful. I ended up having to buy a different potty.

This potty is so cute and works great! My daughter was surprised when it started singing while she was using the potty but now she loves it. She claps and sings as soon as the song starts. Thats such a great idea to have it automatically start playing so kids know potty makes the song go. She also likes to flush the toilet over and over. The seat comes off to easily flush the urine down the toilet or use on a regular potty. I have suggested this to friends and family to get for their little ones.

Reading the reviews had me a little skeptical as I have a son. But I have had no problems with the splash guard. The only thing really is the fact that the back part is too distracting for my son. He only wants to flush the toilet and watch it light up. But I like it. I love how it says u did it when they use it. Now my son says I did it!

I was not sure this was the potty for my daughter, but she loves it! It makes flushing sounds and makes it look like its flushing real water in the back. It sings when she does go on the potty and she loves that too! Over all I would recommend this potty to everyone I know!

    • A. The reward sensors are in the bottom of the green bowl part of the potty (from the pictures, it may look like two holes, but those are actually the sensors). The moment your child "goes potty" and it hits the sensors, the potty goes "Yay, you went potty!" and there's some cheers and then it goes into a cute song about using the potty with music and everything! The potty rewards them when they actually use the potty and not when they flush it. I just received mine today and in 20 minutes, my two year old daughter was going to the potty! She actually went by herself and then came to me and my husband's room and brought us back to her bathroom to show us that she used the potty. She was so excited! I hope this helps.

    • A. They are actually not holes but "sensors" in the green bowl part of the potty. As soon as anything hits the sensors, the potty starts to praise your child by saying "Yay, you went potty!" and from there, it does this cute song about going to the potty. As far as the green bowl, you just simply detach it from the potty and pour out whatever is in it straight into the toilet.
