This fireplace sounded good when I ordered it, because it was the right size and the right price for my tiny budget, and my Tiny House on Wheels.  When I opened it, I found so much more to like.  I liked that the 34"" wall fireplace was VERY sturdy, unlike some I had tried. The log or rock option strip is securely screwed in, as is the nice and heavy glass front, with 3 screws on each side (6 total) , unlike others that have only 2 at the top.  As I was unpacking, I noted a very thoughtful wall hanging bracket.  It does not have only the two screw holes to screw into the wall, but slots, so you can place the screws securely on the studs, THEN you can slide the bracket rt. or lft. to center it into your viewing area.  In pulling the fireplace out of the box, I also noted a solid finger grip on each side that made it so much easier to unpack, and carry once it was out.  Then I plugged in before mounting, as it suggested, and fount the flame settings from tall and bright to low ember glow, very realistic (a photo cannot do it justice) and unlike others I tried, when you look down into the wood/rock insert all you see is the glow of the""embers"" between the logs or rocks, not an opaque glass cover over the white light bulbs.  Speaking of light bulbs, I has 2 flame shaped (chandelier) bulbs with a  trap door on the base, for easy access when they need to be changed.   I prefer the ""crystal"" bed of my previous fireplace, for it looks more like a sandy beach fire pit.   I tried the rock insert,  but preferred the realism of the logs, so I found that the log insert was far enough from the glass cover plate that I could carefully glue some old crystal pieces  in spaces between the ""logs and embers,"" so they caught the light and added additional feeling of depth and sparkle.  Pictures don't catch the brilliance of the flame.  I sit at night with me feet up on a stool, and the fireplace warms both my heart and body.

I needed an electric fireplace to replace my gas (formerly wood ) fireplace. I installed yours over the existing fireplace (real easy) and connected it to an existing outlet. had it about 2 months now and am really pleased. We have had some cold weather here in Florida 37 degrees in the morning. It will not heat a room very quickly but more provides background heat. I really like the feature that you can have the flames on but no heat.

We bought this about a month ago. We installed it in front of our fireplace. It looks realistic and we are pleased with the way it heats our home. My mother lives with us and she says it keeps her very warm. Also, it was very affordable. I just wish that heat came from the front and not the top.

Electric fire place

I ordered the wall fireplace from Plumstruck, from a company called WTLiving, Well Traveled Living, It came earlier than expected, however, it didn't work, the main power light came on, but the button panel did not work, neither did the remote. I called them on the phone and told them my story, the folks were genuinely kind, considerate and very willing to get issue resolved. They immediately had UPS pick up the broken unit the next day, to my surprise, they also delivered the new unit the next day. Now I am all excited, so we open the box plug it in and it worked, however it was missing the remote. So I called them back up, again, they were very very kind and said they would ship out a remote right away. Received the remote a few days later, we checked it out and can't get the remote to work, so will probably have to call the company again. We really like the product itself, modern, great features, looks great on the wall, all in all, very happy with it, now we just have to get the remote issue resolved. We can still use the unit, it has manual buttons on the left side. I was very pleased with the customer service I received from WTLiving, they were very kind to me and it was a pleasure getting it all resolved.

Nice product, however....

I got my fire place to help warn up my bedroom and the home office. I heat with wood and this little extra heat is nice. I was concerned that the cost would be an problem so I hooked the heater up to a kill-A-Watt meter and at .08 cents per KW the cost is a dollar a day @ 24/7 usage.

the obly knock I have on this is that the LED indicator lights are on the side and not the front so if you want to use the 7000 BTU mode you need to confirm it by getting up and looking at the side. why not put them on the front?

Other than location of the lights I am very happy with my heater/fireplace. My friends were impressed with the realistic flames

Works as advertised

Warms the master bedroom very well. I love the timer feature. The fire looks very real and relaxing to the eyes. 4 stars because the remote, and directions for the remote were hard to understand. I have no high and low heat with the remote. Otherwise, great for the price we paid.

Very nice.

Purchased for our bedroom took 9 hours to get it from 64 to 71 with an outside temperature of only 47.
