I bought this Faberware pressure cooker last week and so far have used it to make two meals with great success. First meal was pot roast with potatoes and the second meal was bean and ham soup. Both meals turned out perfect.
As many other reviews say, the instruction manual isn't the most helpful but it does tell you the extreme basics. You can learn a lot more about using electric pressure cookers by watching YouTube videos. It does come with a little cookbook to get you started. I used the bean soup recipe from it and it turned out very tasty.
Things I love about the pressure cooker is - it's easy to clean, doesn't make all the noise that a traditional pressure cooker does, and allows me to make great tasting meals in a relatively short amount of time. I was a big fan of crockpot cooking but I usually don't have time in the morning to get the ingredients together and going before I leave for work. With the pressure cooker I don't have to decide the night before what I'm going to make for supper and have it all ready to go for the crockpot in the morning.
The only real improvements I can think of is the manual but like I said, there's plenty of info on YouTube to solve that problem. I'm definitely happy with this purchase.
