    I paid $39.99 for this
I have used this 4 times. The Sear function allows for one pot cooking. I am making dishes in under an hour which used to take at least 4 hours to cook. Time saver and flavor craver. There are many recipes online to help you familiarize yourself with this appliance. 4 meals and every one is perfect.

    Defective pressure cooker
The gasket under the lid did not seal correctly and steam and water came out when using it. Returned it to the store. Walmart has a great return policy.

    My first pressure cooker

I used it last night and it worked great, easy cleanup, instruction book is not very good and the recipe book is lame but the cooker is good!

    Exceeded Expectations

I just got this so I haven't used it yet. This pot exceeded my expectations. Though I did pay $53 for mine, I am pleased with its heavy duty build and 2 year warranty. These pressure cookers are smaller on the inside, so even the 8qt doesn't doesn't have a huge amount of space on the inside. But the unit itself is larger. Pics below.

    Farberware Instant Pot

It is a fabulous appliance! So easy to use and the sale price was great!

i have bought 2 of these

    soup, roast, green beans

    Awsome

I'm just in love with this product. I have a lot of experience with pressure cookers because in Cuba, where I am from they are a must in every kitchen. This is a big pressure cooker with a lot of room which works perfectly. Thanks to the preset program I don't really need to figure out how much time I need to cook a specific meal and at the same time I love that it allows me to increase or decrease the amount of time in case need it. I read the instructions, even though I knew already how to use a pressure cooker just to see if it was true what other customers said about the instructions not being clear and I must say that they were perfectly good, even the translation to Spanish. So I totally recommend this pressure cooker, you won't regret it, it has the perfect quality-price balance.

    Great Product!

I have the Faberware 6 qt. And use it almost every day. I love my Faberware. I bought the 8 qt. For a Christmas gift, so I myself have not used it, but it has some different features on it which includes the bake feature. The functions are simple to use. I like the non stick finish of the inner pot rather than the stainless steel on the other brands version. No sticking problems. I hope Walmart continues to carry the Faberware cookers. I'm mu opinion, they are the best!!

This is bigger than I thought it would be. The instructions seemed too complicated. It tells you to take a part off and put it on somewhere else. Too confusing for me.

Works well and you can't beat the price.

I just got the machine and it works very well. My only complaint is that the instructions are difficult to understand and there is not enough detail. I was not comfortable with the level of instruction. I went on YouTube to gather more information about how to use the machine.

    works okay but with shortcomings

This is my second electric pressure cooker. I had the first one for five years and used it about twice a month during that time. As for shortcomings, the power cord is way too short. That is a safety feature but I think they went overboard. The steamer rack is too small and tips over. That can be fixed by using a pie tin with lots of holes in it or a commercial steamer insert. The lid is on or removed completely. It does not flip up on a hinge and stay up, so you have to remove it completely and set it down somewhere when it is hot and dripping. My old pressure cooker had a high pressure and a low pressure setting. This only has high. That's not a big deal since that is what I use 90% of the time. The manual is no help as far as how long to cook things. It has one touch buttons for a lot of different foods but depending on the amount you are cooking, you have to make time adjustments. This is something you already have to know. Okay, so those are the shortcomings. As for cooking, it works, pure and simple. It has a larger capacity than my old one and cost a lot less. I would not recommend this for a first time user, but if you know what you are doing, it is a good deal and worth it.
