Key Features:

You will Emerge!

Multiplayer finally comes to the epic open world RPGs of Bethesda Game Studios. Create your character with the S.P.E.C.I.A.L system and forge your own path in a new and untamed wasteland with hundreds of locations. Whether you journey alone or with friends, a new and unique Fallout adventure awaits.

Mountain Splendorland!

All-new graphics, lighting and landscape technology brings to life six distinct West Virginia regions. From the forests of Appalachia to the noxious crimson expanses of the Cranberry Bog, each region offers its own risks and rewards. Post-nuclear America has never looked so beautiful!

Use the all-new Construction and Assembly Mobile Platform (C.A.M.P.) to build and craft anywhere in the world. Your C.A.M.P. will provide much-needed shelter, supplies, and safety. You can even set up shop to trade goods with other survivors. But beware, not everyone will be quite so neighborly.

The Power of the Atom!

Go it alone or with fellow survivors to unlock access to the ultimate weapon – Nuclear Missiles. This destruction also creates a high-level zone with rare and valuable resources. Do you protect or unleash the power of the atom? The choice is yours.

Cool concepts, needs more action
This is my first Fallout game. Definitely has an interesting premise, was expecting a bit more in terms of action, right now it's a bit slow. There's only so many hours of scavenging paint cans and coffee cups that I can do. Hopefully it picks up more in later levels. The whole staying hydrated and eating concept is cool too, but it does tend to get in the way right at the wrong moments. Overall, still pretty cool for an average gamer like myself.

What's the point?
They totally messed up Fallout with this game. I love Fallout 4 but this is nothing like it. There is no feeling of accomplishment like the other Fallout games since everything resets when you turn it off. You only get the one settlement that u move around the map. Building up settlements was half the fun in Fallout.. not no more. Spend 2 hours beating some hard enemies, no worry, they'll be right back there the next time you play so you can do it again, how fun!! Plus there are no NPCs - no funny computer characters making the game funny and enjoyable. Now mission are all gained on terminals. Lame!! Pointlessss!! No wonder they are giving this game away free in other countries. Wish I could have returned it, but I was one of the suckers that bought it digitally.. lesson learned.

Try it out

This is a great game. Its not supposed to be the same kind of game as the usual fallouts. Theyre trying something new and have a ways to go before the game is really complete. But i dont think that this game is really bad. It has good graphics, pvp is fun, good gun play and a better CAMP building system

Decent game

If you like the crafting aspect of Fallout New Vegas with the combat mechanics of 3-4 you will have a good time. Yes there is grinding like any other MMORPG however there are no monthly fees. The battle Royale mode that was introduced at E3 is fun providing you are used to the combat mechanics of the previous games. The story line of the beginning mainline quests explain why there are no Human NPC's. You also have to figure that this is 25 years after the bombs falling and that the population was made up of survivors that were turned into ghouls and “scorched”. The story explains how. There was concern with Greifers but everyone I met in game was considerate. Just don't “steal” and you will be fine. Pick a lock of something that is owned by another PC is stealing and you get a price on your head. Take stuff and that price goes up. With the additional content that came out and is coming out it is a fun game IMHO there are still some bugs that break immersion however I have not found any on the xbone that broke my game. If you look around it goes on sale from time to time. I picked it up as part of a bundle with a loot box of fallout related stuff for my desk.

Not a bad game, but not a good game either

So, like the title, this game isn't bad... it just isn't good either. First off, it's not very difficult. So I can't say it's a survival game... at all. I have yet to run into a difficult situation where I couldn't win. Not a deal breaker, but let's not pretend this is a survival game. Second, the game hasn't made any improvements since Fallout 4. The animations are the same... same weapons... same power armor animations... same sound effects. Aside from more vegetation I would swear this was Fallout 4. Third, base building is really restrictive. Compared to Fallout 4 (which everything is compared to 4 now) base building is tiny and sad. Again, none of these things alone make it a bad game; it's that for $60 I would expect more. This probably should have just been a $20 DLC for Fallout 4.

Pretty pointless

You'll find yourself pointlessly searching the wasteland for ammo and other supplies that are used up in their entirety very frequently on bullet sponging enemies and repairs to your clunky weapons. It can appear fun for the first severy hours but for me... reaching around level 25 was enough to make me regret spending $60 on this fallout 4 DLC

Terrible

The one word I could use to sum this game up is LAZY. It's very clear the developers put no love into this game and just wanted to get something out there to make money off of die hard Fallout fans. Everything that was good about the Fallout franchise (dialogue with other characters being a main point) is gone in this game. If I wanted to play a shooter game, I would have gotten Call of Duty. There is no real story to even follow, it's just a bunch of people walking around collecting things. So disappointed in this game, and in Bethesda. They clearly either don't know, or don't care about their audience.

honest review for terrible game

I have played all of the fallout's on a console but fallout 76 is the biggest buggiest nastiest game will be fine it was released broken they do not update enough and removing mpc's was the worst thing they ever did

Cheap Asset Flip / Disappointing Game

Bethesda did a very cheap asset rip from their previous title, Fallout 4, and threw in a poorly implemented multi-player on it. So far, the release of the game has been plagued by glitches and poor game design. in a company of Bethesda's scale, releasing something of this quality is pretty disgusting. While the developers have promised to support the game free, their past history with similar titles has indicated that it will likely involve pay-gated elements that won't be covered under this promise. I love the Fallout series, but this is a really poor, greedy, and short sighted implementation of it.

Shame on Bethesda

Terrible waste of $. The beloved fallout we know is gone. It is not this game. I could live with this game if Bethesda would turn off damage from trolling players who keep shooting you when you don’t wanna interact with them. Also the game is always shutting down for server maintenance and losing your progress making you re do missions all the time! You can’t manually save you can’t pause. VATS is gone. It’s just terrible. I hate Bethesda cuz of this.

1. No you can't but there are only 24 other people in the world with you and since the map is so big you prob won't see anyone that often. Hope this helps!
