I have seen reviews that it was difficult to set up. NOT so. It was very easy and the print quality is great. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

You won't regret!
This printer is very mobile app friendly as it also focuses on mobile and wireless connectivity. I found that some people have had some issues with connectivity, but I encountered no problems! It was quick and easy! Perhaps, it has to do with having multiple access points / WIFI networks which causes devices/printers to not maintain its same network through the setup process. I would recommend disabling all access points to both devices during the setup process to ensure one network is accessed. I would recommend setting up the printer through an app. However, it works just fine with laptops as well. It gives you guided instructions on connecting your device to the printer's wireless directly(Need to select your printer's WIFI in your device). This app is very convenient because it even copies your credentials from your phone!! Once setup on your wireless, it's available to all devices on the network. I've had no issues printing from Macs, PCs, Android, and iOS devices. Overall, this printer provides adequate speed and quality for someone who requires occasional printing. The mobile app even has features such as printing mailing labels and photos right from your device.
Great Emergency Printer
Versatile and easy setup. My house was flooded by hurricane Irma, so I've been living in my motorhome. While none of my printers was damaged, being upstairs, I wanted the convenience of a small, cheap, printer/scanner for the limited space in the RV. This has proved ideal for over 4 months of frequent usage. The only issue I had was weird. It kept having and reporting feed jams. It turned out to be a ladybug that had got into the paper path and tripped the jam switch. For light-duty and portability, it can't be beat (even by my "real portable" printer costing several times the price). Don't expect mind-blowing speed or photo quality, but it's otherwise highly recommended
This is my second Kodiak printer. The first one broke but that was my fault. So looking to upgrade, so I bought a Epson for about $80 The print quality was terrible so I took it back and I bought $115 Hewlett-Packard and after an hour and a half with their tech-support I still could not get it installed it was telling me I had a paper jam when there was none. Even the tech told me to take it back!!I then decided to buy the Kodak, since the first one wa decent. OMG! This printer is great! It took me 10 min to install and the print quality is excellent. I use USB , so I do care about WI-FI For-my needs it is fine. The only thing that I'm disappointed in some of the parts are made of flimsy plastic which is why am only giving it a four star otherwise I would've given it a five star
Pretty Good, Except...
This is a great little printer, copier, scanner! It's quick and prints beautifully. I would give it 5 Starts except for these three things: 1) It needs to have a feed capability to make a stack of copies at once instead of coping page by page on the glass. 2) Unless you print or make copies throughout the week, I would suggest buying the lower ink capacity because this ink dries out SO quickly!!! I never knew ink dried out like this one does. We spent over $50 buying the black and color XL-XXL ink cartridges, and I've learned it is a waste of money. I've done everything I can do get the ink running again, but it ain't workin'! From now on, I'm going to stick to the regular 5 ink. 3) I keep having to reinstall the printer drives on my laptop which is a severe pain in the bottom! Other than that, believe it or not, I am pretty satisfied! :-)
Absolute garbage! I needed a printer fast and didn't have time for comparison shopping. The low ink costs was attractive in this one. Set up was a nightmare that eventually involved 25 min with customer service and them taking remote control of my laptop. The wireless function hijacks my internet connection. If it is not used for several days it either doesn't print at all or at varying print quality- often skipping sections from 1/16" to 1/2" making it useless
This printer stopped working after 1 month. It could not connect to Wi-Fi. It did not recognize new ink installed and kept insisting I was completely out of ink. It stopped scanning. I uninstalled and reinstalled software. Finally gave up after hours and days of troubleshooting. Contacted the manufacturer and they would not take it back without troubleshooting again. Finally sent it back. Very dissapointed with this printer. It was a waste of my time and money.
Here's what makes this a terrible printer. First, the website is practically jibberish. Second, the same website requires a password but there was no place to create an account so how you're supposed to know the password is beyond me. Third, this printer crashed four times while I was trying to download the servers. Fourth, the test page came out blank but the ink is fine according to the page I was supposed to log into that I couldn't log into. All I need is a simple, cheap printer to print off study guides for my classes and this can't even cut that. I'm going to keep messing with it but I'm already an hour into the process. This shouldn't be so hard.
