I am so excited about this machine! I have been looking to purchase a sewing machine of my own for about a year now. I have previously taken classes and have made a few smaller items (i.e. cosmetic bags, pot holders, coasters). Am now looking for something I could use to re-cover my kitchen cushions and attempt quilting on! Luckily, the Eversewn Charlotte 70 can quickly transform into a perfect quilting tool by lowering the feed dogs – no need for a separate machine here! I love how light it is - it makes it so much easier to carry and tote around than the 13lb Brother CS6000i I've used in the past. The computerized function is extremely helpful, I love that you can choose the stich pattern and the stitch length so quickly and effortlessly. Another huge plus is that you don't need to use a foot pedal with this machine, a simple start/stop button on the front easily turns on/off with just a tap. The automatic needle threader is incredibly helpful, especially for beginners, and the drop-in bobbin (with a CLEAR cover!!) is actually life changing – it's perfect to keep an eye on how much thread you have left. This machine comes equipped with 70 built-in stitches which is amazing for embroidery! I didn't think I would find a machine I enjoyed using more than the Brother CS6000i – but Eversewn has pleasantly surprised me! I think this is a great beginner/intermediate machine with so many possibilities to create beautiful items. I whole heartedly recommend this machine to all sewers, whether you're a first timer or full on expert! I am writing this review as part of a contest.
