The spigot concept is nice, however they use a threaded rod to mount the spigot. It is not flush with the inside of the pot. It sticks out about a half inch and the drain hole is up off yhe bottom of the pan. It makes it impossible to get the last of the juice out without taking the strainer out and dumping out of the pan rendering the spigot useless! When trying to get enough juice to fill a jar it is frustrating. Plus, dangerous, lots of hoy steam when draining.
Also, you can't fit a jar under the spigot when the kettle is on the stove. It is very difficult to use. Other models with a hose are much easier to use. Most hose types have the drain hole flush with the pot making getting the last juice out much easier.
The glass top lid is really nice. It is nice to see things cooking. However, it is not enough to keep this. We returned it and went for function. Avoid the spigot, too hard to use.
