    Was almost a return

Initially, I was so disappointed with the vacuum because it wasn't nearly picking up what my expectation was. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs (I's a lot. Lol) and an expensive leopard carpet. I was tired of seeing cat hair regardless of how many times I vacuumed. I had this for a week and was really upset because there was still cat hair after I vacuumed, I thought I am going to take this thing back but hesitated because it didn't cost that much and it worked really well through the attachments. Just as I was about to pack it up, something told me to really look at it. I am so glad that I did because the vacuum was on tool settings and not vacuum. Once I changed that this machine worked like a dream. I wonder if this is what other's problem was also. I was so amazed at how this vacuum worked and EXCEEDED my expectation. AND it didn't cost as much as the multi hundred dollar competitor which was what I was going to get but settled with this. I am a happy woman. As you see on the picture, no pet hair in sight.

    Fantastic vacuum for the price!

I recently moved into a new apartment, and had a vacuum but it was older and not very effective. Now, the carpets had been cleaned prior to my move-in, and it was only 2 weeks between moving in and trying out this vacuum. As you can see by the attached photo, it removed a substantial amount of dust from the carpet. It is just me living in a 800 sq ft place, and the tank is already 3-4 inches full from what it picked up... and I don't have any pets. Most of that dust likely came from furniture and boxes/items as I was moving in, but I would've never known. I had already vacuumed once last week with the old vacuum, which apparently didn't collect squat. So, it seems to have great suction, yet it is surprisingly easy to maneuver around. It's much lighter than my older vacuum, and glides along more easily on the carpet. For the money, this seems like a great deal so far and I'm very pleased.

I have been using a Phantom vacuum that I've just felt was too heavy and didn't pick up much. I vacuum every 3 days or so, 2 of us and one hypoallergenic dog. With my old vacuum I had to clean the cannister only every 3rd use of so. I vacuumed an area rug in my living room as well as one hallway (slow vaccum since I think it picks up better) and HOLY! This was those 2 small spaces, I just vacuumed 2 days ago.

This vacuum has given us problems from the start. Supposedly good for pet hair it doesn't pick up hair as advertised. The hair gets trapped and never makes it to the cup to be emptied. I had to take the hair out by hand because it was so clogged that nothing was being sucked in. After that, thinking the problem solved I tried to use it again, then there was smoke The good news is that I have only had it a month and still have a warranty. In the photo, you can see all the dust that has been sprayed about and landed on top of the product. Useless

Bought this yesterday since my old vacuum died on me. I read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. I have 2 German Shepherds and 2 kids under 6 and this has already proven it self to me within the last 24 hours of owning it! My dogs shed so much with their long hair and after the first time vacuuming, the canister was almost all the way full with dog hair and some sandy looking gunk. It was both disgusting that was on my floor and fascinating that it picked it all up. Even the little attachment for my couch got all the hair since they sleep on them. Leather and fabric couches. It is so light. When you push it forward, it glides with ease and when you pull it back that's when you feel the suction. I love it and for $80 you cant beat it! Do not judge me by my photo lol, I was vacuumless for 3 days!!

    Boy does this vacuum suck!

I have never been so happy to <ugh> do chores! This lightweight upright is the clean machine of my dreams. Like many others it claimed the ability to multi-surface clean (ie bare floors) and of course I couldn't wait to be disappointed when I tried it out. Not only did this vacuum eliminate my need to sweep, with a suction so good it even cleaned the corners, but I actually had to raise it off the lowest setting because it would suction to the linoleum and actually start to pull it up! Now that is power! Of course it works amazing on carpets, though I would recommend using on a setting raised higher than you normally would. And best of all is the easy, no mess, container which lifts off with a lid and dumps via push button release on the bottom, no more shaking, tipping, sneezing or spilling. It's also kind of neat once you empty it to watch it suck down all the dust from the sides of the container when you start it up again. Again, cannot recommend this enough!

    Great vaccum

Our $350.00 Oreck vaccum could not even come close to get the dog & cat fur off the low pile carpet but this gem sucked it all right up with no problem! We are telling everyone we know about it, This has to be the best value for the money I've seen in a long time.

    powerful with great value!

This vacuum works great and very powerful! Eureka has improved a lot recently and I have to admit, they've done it (similar performance on my prev dyson and at a fifth of the price). This is sleek looking device which is light to move but heavy on the job that it does. Definitely more powerful on my previous vacuum. Bagless is a plus saves me lots of money. The first time my wife used the Eureka, she's very impressed and now she's a believer.

    Returned Promptly

I bought this vacuum to handle dog hair around my house from three dogs (lab, Sheltie and large long haired mutt) with a more lightweight vacuum, and was excited to use the turbo power paw on the stairs due to its spinning brush. Well, the brush on the power paw made it through four stairs before it stopped turning. I couldn't clean it out to get it spinning again. The vacuum itself sucked out a lot of dirt from the carpets that my 6 yr old Hoover WindTunnel didn't get, but this particular model doesn't have a switch to turn off the brush for bare floors. My entire main living area, dining room and kitchen has bare floors and the vacuum kicked around some dirt while getting the hair. The capacity is small so I had to empty it three times on just one floor (my bagless WindTunnel, although heavy, only requires emptying once with my weekly vacuuming efforts). Finally, on my first pass at vacuuming the hardwood floors, the back wheel fell off!! The interior plastic unit that holds in the wheel and small metal bar had cracked open (but I hadn't banged it on anything!). This vacuum is lightweight but way too chintzy and won't hold up over time if you need something durable to handle those pets that leave their "clothes" all over the house. I guess you get what you pay for...I'll have to increase my budget.

Dtd not work as well as my old one.

Got this vacuum om the 4th of July and returned it three days later. Used it once and it broke a belt. Had to buy new belts. Broke again. Talked to your help support and they sain I needed to take it to a center and wait for them to fix it. Took it back to the store. Felt I didn't need to wait a week or so for a new machine.
