Keeps the house clean!!!
The Eufy Robovac 25C is made of plastic some shiny spots and some matte carbon fiber like surfaces too. It sits a little less than 3” high and about 12” wide. This gives it the ability to fit into small spaces in your home like under tables, chairs, and couches. On the top of the Robovac you get three touch buttons and a WiFi indicator Light. These buttons control some of the functions of the Robovac, like autorun, spot clean, and return to home (charging base). On the bottom in the back you have the collection bin. It is very easy to remove and empty. This is also where you can clean the filter and or replace the filter. The Robovac 25C does come with extra spin brushes and filters. The Robovac comes equipped with a battery that will last 100 min on the lowest setting, but if you increase the power that gets reduced in half down to 50 min. I've found that it does last the advertised time, which is plenty enough time to clean a medium sized room. Once its low it returns to the included charging base where it will take anywhere from 5-6 hours to fully charge back up. There are a few ways to control the Robovac 25C: Robovac buttons Included remote control Eufyhome App Google and Alexa Siri I spoke about the Robovac buttons already so we will talk about the included remote. The remote gives you the ability to control almost all functions of the Robovac. You can set it to auto clean, spot removal, edge clean, you can also control the direction of the Robovac manually, you also have a return to home button and a quick clean button. The remote is really all you need to get started using your Robovac. Now if you want further customization you will need the Eufyhome App. The Eufyhome app gives you the ability to program scheduled times and days you want the Robovac to begin cleaning. Along with scheduling it also lets you do all the same controls as the remote, but with an added find my robot feature. If you use this button you can set off a sound that will signal where you Robot is. The last way to control your Eufy Robovac is to use smart speaker or assistants. Google assistant and Alex can send commands to the Robovac after you complete a simple setup. If you want to take if one further you can use Siri (Siri Shortcuts) to relay messages to Google assistant and command your Robovac that way. When it comes to cleaning the Robovac has a few modes. The first mode is the Auto mode, in this mode the Robovac will clean until the battery runs low and then return to the charging base. The next mode is spot clean, in this mode it cleans one area in a circular fashion. The edge cleaning mode is just as it sounds, and lastly the quick clean will go for 30 minutes. Let's talk about the negatives. The Robovac has a loud beep as feedback and it there is no way to adjust it or turn it off. Another problem I ran into is that you can only schedule one time a day to automatically start cleaning. Lastly, the Robovac 25C does not work with the boundary stripes. The Robovac does a great job cleaning, especially on hardwood floors. Each night I set it to sweep up after dinner and it leaves the floors clean with no trace of crumbs or anything else. The loudness of the Robovac is also a plus, it is half the decibels of a traditional vacuum. The Robovac is really easy to get started and to use which makes it even more appealing. You don't have to worry about the Robovac falling off edges either because it has sensors that will turn it around if it senses an edge. Lastly, it does a great job manuvering around objects such as toys and h!umans. Overall the Eufy Robovac 25C is a great entry level buy if you are looking for something to keep your floors dust, dirt, and crumb free!

Oh, those nasty pet hairs!
Oh, poor Eufy! I was really excited and wanted so badly to write a great review... until I took the product out of the box and set it to work. Yes, it is very quiet and seems to be doing a good job finding its way around the room*s(. BUT! The main reason for purchasing it was that we have two beasts in the house / a dog and a cat and yes, there is hair all over the place. And that is where this poor robot just flunked the test. It managed to scoop uyp some of the hair, but it was really SAD watching it go over the same area over and over again ("spot cleaning") and NOT be able to picjk up all those loose hairs on a barren floor! I tried and tried and tried... steering it back to the same spots where hair was just too visible and - nothing! NADA! I upped the suction power to the max - still nothing. Those same loose hair would not be sucked up. What a disappointment, especially after the glowing reviews that I read on several shopping sites. I guess, I'll have to return it, though I hate to do that. As a matter of principle.

eufy Robovac 25C - My Astroboy :)

Eufy Robovac 25C - My Astroboy - Review - #WeLoveTesting

Received this eufy Robovac 25C unit 2 weeks back and been using it since. Package came in a bit dusty manner, looked like directly out of warehouse, but had a gem of a device inside. Now going over the review.

Unboxing –

The Box came with Robovac 25C, charging Base, Remote Control (plus a pair of AAA batteries - no Anker Batteries again), Power Adapter, Side Brushes, Cable ties,Additional / Spare high Performance filter & Foam Filter, Cleaning Brush (blue colored) and Owner Manual Brochure with a bigger version of Happy Card with details on contact for support, quick start. Nice, simple packing, well laid out.

Initial Setup –

To get start off, Setup the Charging base with the adapter, removed the stickers & stoppers from the Robovac 25C, which I will refer as Astroboy going forward, attached the 2 side brushes. Powered ON Astroboy and placed it in near by area to Base charging and pressed Plug sign, device moved to base charging station - this was a wow moment for all of us, since this is the first Robo-Vacuum device we have ever used. Charged the Robovac for approximately 4 hours to full charge.

Eufy Robovac25C - Initial setup

The first time I powered ON Astroboy, sent to my little one was super excited – watch it

Configuring Astroboy on eufy App on iPhone -

Once fully charged, configured the Robovac to Eufy App, was very simple to configure it, added Robovac to 2.4Gz Wifi network.

Connecting to Google Home -

My eufy login was already connected on Google Home, so had to simply add the Robovac Astroboy - the app showed up add a new device for eufy, and Astroboy showed up.

Using Remote -

The remote is small and handy, with all the relevant options to return to dock, start / stop cleaning, power level and modes, manual directions, edge/spot/auto/quick cleaning shortcuts… more like how Streaming device remotes have it for channels, and which is kind of cute. however I really like to use remotes less and like to use voice commands or use iPhone for controls. Used the remote only for the initial testing and options and shooting some test review videos.

Using Voice Commands -

Voice commands were easy to use and summon Astroboy to start / stop cleaning / finding him. All of the commands worked except going back to home / docking station, but got this fixed yesterday by removing and adding the device back, (mostly some glitch on google / eufy integration).

Using eufy App Options and schedules -

All functions on eufy app operate similar to the remote. Being on smartphone is an added advantage, accessible from anywhere on internet. Tested all the options on the eufy app such as modes, edge cleaning, spot cleaning and more. Find function is really useful, when Astroboy hides, once in a while.

Schedules worked like a breeze, smooth and prompt on time. Usually set it for 3:20pm, this is the time we go pick kids from school and the time home will be free from us disturbing Astroboy, and we appreciate his privacy and work he does

Cleaning Operations -

We have hardwood laminated floor along with low-pile carpets. Started the cleaning with Astroboy, he does have a slightly noise when he moves around. Atroboy has strength to over come roll-up of carpets and moves forward. Cleans dust with suction which is expected of it. In auto mode, keeps going to area, bounces back, and then changes direction. Astroboy does a great job of navigating / moving through the path, bouncing against items and turning away each time.

At times, had to use manual mode on remote / eufy app to assist Astroboy to move to out / go to the desired location. However if left alone, Astroboy covered the entire room area. Takes approximately 20 minutes to clean the living room. Entire house, – living room, kitchen, bedrooms take approximately 1 hr 15 min.

Testing Suction / Vacuuming Performance

Clean up candies and flour on the hardwood floor. Was really impressed with the suction and cleaning on the hardwood, though it made a lot of noise, but that is expected. Flour was completed sucked out.

Clean up candies and paper pieces spread out on the carpet. This was fast well, used the remote to make sure the robovac went straight into the candy pile  , again impressive, cleaned up the carpet completely in 10 min.

Carpet_Candy%20_Gif

Battery Life –

Tested Astroboy to extreme level on cleaning time.

On Auto Cleaning Mode, time from Full Charge to low-battery at which stage, the Astroboy returned to Docking was 111 minutes. Astroboy automatically returns to charging dock when the battery is low, no manual intervention needed.

On Auto Cleaning - total time - 111 minutes

On BoostIQ - total time - 56 minutes

On Max - Total time - 42 minutes

Scope for improvement – its a wishlist to have the battery level in digits on eufy app, it is better to see the battery numbers than the bar level.

Cleaning Astroboy

We clean Astroboy's dust collector once in 2 days, regular dusting and water cleaning (after removing the filters) in sink. Also removed the dirt / hair from side brushes & rolling brush once a week using the cleaning tool provided with the kit. Cleaning them makes Astroboy perform better  he needs some care and makes him feel happy.

Docking back at Charging Base –

Astroboy takes considerable time going back to docking station, sometimes quick sometimes gets lost, and we help him back home. Accuracy of returning back home is about 80% (tested 10 separate times, reached dock 8 times successfully, the other 2 times was going in circles in the same spot)

Final thoughts –

Eufy Robovac 25C, our Astroboy does what it says, cleans well, good suction power for vacuuming on hardwood floor and carpet, automatically docks when the battery is low! Going back to docking / charging station needs some improvements. Robovac Astroboy makes his presence felt with slight sound / noise, but gets the job done well! Being our first robot vacuum, we are pretty impressed with Astroboy's performance.

Me and my wife are very happy to have Astroboy at home, helping us with the cleaning! kids are excited as well, little one does not get down from Sofa when Astroboy is near, so we schedule it for late afternoons.

Set it and FORGET It! Love my Rosie :)

This is a quick rundown of the Eufy RoboVac 25C. It's a WiFi connected Robot Vaccum. We have named her, Rosie.

First, the box arrived beat up and damaged, no fault of Eufy, but that was a little sad to see. In the box you can see the home base, Rosie, remote, batteries, cleaning tool, extra side brushes and extra filters.

Two side brushes snap on with a breeze, first you gotta plug in the power adapter to the home base and let that sucker charge for a few hours. Once charged I paired it with my WiFi, which was done in a snap through the Eufy Home app.

So, I've been using Rosie for about 5 days now and I think there's some “learning” going on, it seems to go round and round and a lot of perimeter cleaning. So I think it's just trying to map out my house. I haven't even brought it to the 2nd floor yet, I don't want to confuse the poor slave.

I have set up the “scheduled” cleanings at 8:00am every day, it's nice to come home to a fairly clean house and not having to even think of it. We'll also throw it on every once in awhile when it's fully charged. It's fairly quiet, but not quiet enough to run while watching TV or a movie. The dog doesn't seem scared or anything, which was a welcomed surprise.

Besides the pre-scheduled cleanings, you can control the Vac with the app including the “remote controlled car” type directions. You can also press “play” on the Vac itself or use the handy dandy remote. I don't see the need for the remote, but I guess it's nice to have. My favorite way to control Rosie is through the Google Home environment. I have Google Home Mini's and I can say things like “Okay Google, Tell Rosie to start cleaning”.

I haven't had the time to follow it and make sure it gets the whole house or test the times that Eufy advertise, I think it has been drinking and just keeps doing the same spots over and over. But again I think it's learning.

Overall I think that Rosie does a good job cleaning. I've noticed a few scraps that have not been picked up by her and I've had to just remove them myself, stupid Halloween candy wrapper. But just after 3 days the container was pretty full. So clearly it's working! The hardwood floors feel nice and even squeak a little. My OCD kills me to see the zig zag cleaning lines on the carpet, but for not having to vacuum, I think I can deal with it.

This RovoVac is super user friendly, it was a breeze to set up, super simple to operate. I would highly recommend a Eufy RoboVac to anyone. I'm not sure on the features of this version compared to others that Eufy offers. But this seems to have everything that I would think you need! Go get one ;) Please feel free to ask any questions that you might have!

Works well even on the carpets!

I had some doubts as I wasn't particularly experienced with many robot vacuums and doubted its performance on carpets as my apartment's rooms are all carpeted.

However, I am amazed to find out that this is not the case with RoboVac.

It works well on the carpets, and I can leave the charging station within the carpeted room to have RoboVac clean and return.

It goes under the bed and other hard-to-reach places and picked up all the dust that I never wished that was there.

The EufyHome app is very intuitive, allows multiple people to control the vacuum. Schedule cleaning was easy, although I don't find it feasible as I got a 2 year old who is pressing all the buttons of this new robot. I found deploying the vacuum at night to clean the house and the rooms more useful due to this reason.

The included remote is well designed to be stowed on the charging staion and easy to control the vacuum's path when the phone app isn't as easily accessible. Controlling its direction is quite fun as it is like a remote control car. :)

Great product.

Easy and quick set up. It is programmable and works very quietly. It comes with a remote which is also easy to use. The EufyHome app is a great addition. I can start, stop, and see if my Eufy is charging, while I'm at work. I have also bought a second one for my son. Great product.

One of the best things thay happened to me !

How does someone live without one of this ??? I bought this vacuum after a long time of thinking and delivering with myself. I have 2 Persian long hair cats that leave hair every single day. I didn’t clean the floor and the carpet for a few days as I was waiting to test this little piece of heaven. I wasn’t disappointed. In one day, it picked up stuff I didn’t even think it was possible. You won’t go wrong with this brand. Customer service attentive and responsive. 5 starts all the way!

This Eufy cleaning robot is pretty cool and super cute!!! I’ve tried it several times and found it so good at cleaning. I have carpet, wooden floor, a bunch of furnitures and kinda complicated layout in my apartment. Though faced with such confusing situation, the adorable robot can still handle everything pretty well. It can reach almost any corners, even invisible area like that under you bed and then sucks all dirts on the way. It has multi-mode for your preference, including auto, quick cleaning, spot and edge cleaning etc. It can also be controlled remotely with smartphone, google home or Alexa. You can even set a customized schedule for it for a regular cleaning, which is pretty cool! It’s also pretty easy to find via the EufyHome app on my iPhone. it will call out to notify me where it is after I click the ‘find’ button. It can also find its home, which is like a charger spot, automatically when the cleaning is done. Having and playing with it is a pretty exciting experience!

Must have !

Amazing product ! I don't know how could I live with it for so long.

I have 2 Persian long hair cats that leave hair everywhere every day. Plus their scratchers and normal dust.

This is a lifesaver. In hard floor and low carpet, the vacuum was a success !

I was sceptical how this was going to work ... we have four dogs and for the life of me... I never knew what was on the floor not seen.... it literally took two days and five go arounds to get the floor right... it was amazing to see the amount of hair and trash that you can not see and the dust bunnies OMG I love this thing It works like nobody's business NO REGRETS worth the money I'm shock everytime I have to empty the bin.. To keep the floor up I run it every two days... and everytime that dang bin is full... WOW Today I'm a hero with my wife LOL

Oh, those nasty pet hairs!
