I purchased these to teach a middle school class. Out of the 12 that were ordered all worked well out of the box. The quad was easy to fly and all the students were quick to learn.

Very good pocket quad
Best present received!
I purchased this quad-copter after reading reviews for many different models. This one had gotten good reviews for being easy to maneuver, so I thought I'd give it a try for my 12 year old son. But turned out to be his favorite Christmas present. We ended up purchasing a second one for my son so he and a friend could fly them at the same time. The quad-copter has taken a number of spills but continues to work great. Even comes with 4 extra blades. We ended up purchasing a third one for a gift. Highly recommend!
First off let me start by saying I purchased this at the store for $19 not the $29 listed here. This little Quadcopter is tiny but packs a great punch. I have tried various Quadcopters and they all seem to have the same problems "they are hard to fly and not very stable". That being said this is by far the easiest and most stable of all the ones I have tried. I understand that if I want something to just sit there in the air and hover moitionless that I had better be willing to pay the exhorbent price and get a good one but I don't have that kind of money and just want something I can enjoy and this little copter fits that bill. It is very stable for me and easy to fly, I have read where some have complained about the size of the controller, i.e. it is small but works fine for me. The copter comes with extra blades and I have not had to use them as the blades on mine are holding up fine after a few crashes. All in all for the price is a very stable and good flying Quadcopter and like I said if you want something that just sits there still in the air then you will have to pay the big bucks. For something that is enjoyable this is well worth the cost
alot of fun
Picked it up for my daughter, fig she had fun with it and must say we are all having fun with it. Little hard to fly at first but once you get the trim set and get the feel of it, it flys quite good. Charge only last about 10 mins, but it really is alot of fun.
Our grandson spent nearly the whole day playing with the helicopter, so did everyone else. The kids were taking turns. A lot of fun.
Loads of fun
It takes some time to get the hang of it, but it's lots of fun when you do. TIP: DON'T fly it around trees (as in even 100 feet away!) This thing can fly straight up very quickly and any unintended joystick movements can have you getting out the ladder and rake!
Could come with more blades
Battery life is a little lacking, but removing the plastic 'body' makes it lighter improving flight time. It only comes with one extra set of blades, so be careful as they come off easily (as designed). The wires to the motors are extremely fragile, but can easily be resoldered if needed.
Great for the price, with a few caveats
First of all, if you look at the cost and features of other quadrocopters this is a great value and a good way to start learning how to fly them. That said, flying a quad or any RC heli is not something you can just pick up and do first try. You will crash, and those crashes will result in broken rotors. The nice thing about this quad is it's small enough to fly around indoors where crashes will be less severe, and it's cheap so a total loss will only set you back $30 instead of $200. Don't expect to be zipping through obstacle courses with this, it's a challenge just to keep it hovering in one place. Functionally I have no complaints except the size of the controller. It's so small that the tiniest control input sends the quad careening toward the ceiling, walls, etc. It takes some very precise motor skills, but after a few flights you can get the hang of it. Flight time is short, a few minutes per charge. Longer flight times would require a larger battery, larger quad, etc. To recap: this will crash, it will break, hopefully only the rotors. It's cheap and it's a ton of fun. Just keep some spare parts on hand and don't expect too much.
ton o fun in a few grams
Great little quadcopter to learn on, before graduating to the bigger more expensive versions. Quite hard at the beginning, but I've improved greatly over about a dozen flights. Takes about 15 to 20 minutes to charge and flies for about 10 minutes. This copter is not recommended to a smaller child than say 10. Need of a steady hand and awesome hand eye coordination is required to not trash this thing from the get go.
Great flying, but blades break easily
Great little quad-copter, I had a few already and this one is so far the most stable and easy to control, however the blades break very easily, I guess the quality of these blades is very questionable, I had it for 3 days and already broke 5 of them so since it only comes with 4 replacements I now have to order some replacements online to be able to flight again.
