Half the price of the name brand and Just as good.
I have been using the Equate brand for a while now and simply love it. After a year of using the name brand I tried the Equate Omega-3 krill oil and found it to be just as good. It is 100% pure, in fact 3 times more pure than regular krill oil. It is 350mg, has no fishy after taste or odor just like the name brand. It also has phospholipids (130mg) for easy absorption, and it only has 5mg of cholesterol. The softgel pill is small and easy to swallow too. It is a 65 count bottle and you take one per day, so one bottle will last you over 2 months. If you want to save money and still get the same quality as the name brand then buy the Equate brand, you will be glad you did.

Not for me...
I was only able to take this for a few days before I noticed that I had developed a rash on the inner side of my elbows and knees. I wasn't aware that I suffered from any allergies, but since this was the only new thing that I had introduced into my body, I stopped taking it. I used cortizone on the rash and it cleared up.

Quality supplement

I take Omega 3 as a health supplement. Equate brand Omega-3 Krill Oil, seems to be a great, pure product. It's made with sustainable sea product which is important to me and good for the environment. The little red capsule is easy to swallow, the dose is one a day, and best of all, no fishy after taste, odor, or burps! This brand, Equate Omega-3 Krill Oil is 100% pure which gives me confidence taking it.

Fast, easy way to get your daily dose of Krill oil

I started a daily gel cap on receipt of Equate 100% Pure Omega-3 Krill Oil Extra Strength Softgels. As advertised the 500 mg tablets are easy to swallow, each contain 500 mg and the included phospholipids make for easy absorption. They have no fishy aftertaste or odor. It's also advertised as 3x more pure than regular krill oil; rigorously regulated from the sea all the way to the shelf. They are also certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC).

I notice no side effects but I have read that it is not recommended for those on blood thinning products such as Warfarin, as krill oil can also cause some blood thinning. I find this a very easy way to ingest 500 mg of krill oil on a daily basis to address any benefit derivable from its intake.

Great Product!

Was happy to try this as a healthy, natural alternative PMS symptoms. I'm pleased to report that I did notice lessened inflammation and discomfort during the pre menstrual time of month. The gel pills are easy to swallow and have no taste. I will continue to take them to see if I notice any other positive effects from this product.

Equate Superior Omega-3 Krill Caplets

Equate omega-3 krill oil caplets. They compare their product to MegaRed a well-known product. Equate states that there is no fishy aftertaste or oil with these quill tablets. When I open the jar for the first time I was expecting a real fishy smell anyway. To me it smells kind of vanilla yeah and actually quite Pleasant. The caplets were easy to swallow as they promised. What is nice is there's only one Soft gel required per day. Equate suggest you take one with a meal. Which worked out quite easy for me I just take it in the morning with my breakfast.

The Equate Superior Omega-3 Krill jar reads that there are 65 softgels in this size. Reading the supplement facts it appears there are 5 mg cholesterol. Additionally krill oil there are 350 mg, omega-3 fatty acids, 90 mg EPA, 15 mg DHA, 24 mg Phospholipids 130 mg and Astaxanthin 17 mg. The Equate Krill Oli are are in gelatin caplets. Additionally the gelatin caps have Vanillin added, that explains the smell that was pleasant when I first open the jar.

I do take fish oil weekly for my joints and for a healthy heart. I have been taking these grill softgels for about a week now. I think they work just as well as my fish tablets. The best part with Equate Superior Omega-3 Krill is that I do not have 5 pills to swallow like the other fish oil caplets we currently use in order to get the same milligram dosage. This may be a great switch for our family.
