I have been taking omeprazole for years, first from my doctor, and he told me to get it over the counter cause it is available, so i started buying it over the counter and it works as good as the phriscription from the doc, so anyone thinking of taking it should try and see. It takes care of reflux great, some times i get hickups from it but its just a couple of hicks and it over, great product
I was taking a prescription for esomeprazole 40 mgs daily costing over $30.00 a month. After checking with my Dr. I was given the okay to change to 20 mg and take the Equate version. I have noticed I feel no different than I did when taking the more expensive version, and am paying less than half the cost for larger a larger quantity.
I try to never run out of this stuff
I get pretty bad heartburn and have acid reflex. This is the only thing that I have found that actually works. This does not work instantly, but rather helps to prevent it from happening, I take it for so many days, it gets it in control then I take stop taking it until it comes back. When first starting back up , I take Tums or Gaviscon for instant relief,. This works great for me
Omeprazole to the rescue!
Without this product I would have debilitating heartburn every day. My primary physician has approved me taking this medication for as long as my condition persists, and it shows no sign of going away. I rely on this medication completely.
