Every bit as good as name brand...
This WalMart brand handsoap is every bit as good as brand name & I always purchase it! I don't purchase the individual pump bottles - I did that already. I purchase the big refill to refill the and pumps I've had for years. You've no reason to worsen the environment by purchasing & using more & more plastic. Simply save what you have and refill it. You only have to buy the hand pumps one time...refill them forever! Who cares if the label doesn't match the ingredients? You know what's in it & always, whether you have children or not, ALWAYS buy antibacterial!

Bring The Old Formula and Scent Back!
I bought the old antibacterial formula mainly for its awesome fresh scent it almost reminded me of the smell of shampoo I used to love that was discontinued called ‘Agree'. This new formula smells exactly like the brand ‘soft soap' antibacterial soap. Also this new formula doesn't lather up like the old formula did it really sucks I stopped buying it and went back to buying Dial again... Please bring back the old formula with the old scent. I don't care if you guys call it a different version with different color just bring back the scent. The first thing most consumers buying soap, detergent, shampoo etc., does when buying these products is they smell it. The old equate antibacterial formula had that unique fresh smell to it that sets it apart from the other brands that are mostly all similar in smell!!... Please bring the old formula scent back and fire whoever came up with the idea of reformulating and imitating the other brand soaps.

Excellent soap.

Great soap for the money. It's just as good as the brand name.I have been buying this soap for a long time.I would receomened this soap to everyone.Great price and size contain er.

equate hand soap

This hand soap I do purchase for price. Yet it is not as lathering as it use to be. It a takes four to five pumps to get a small lather. When I cleanse my hands I love to see s lot if lather and four to five pumps for a small lathering is too much otherwise it's an okay soap. Would not recommend though.

New Formula Not As Good

I agree with the other reviews on the Equate Light Moisturizing Liquid Hand Soap. It is not as thick and does not lather as well as the previous antibacterial formula. The Soft Soap brand changed their formula with a different antibacterial chemical, and Equate brand followed suite. I believe I read somewhere that the previous "antibacterial" chemical was shown to cause cancer. I found the Equate brand to be a bit thicker and lather a little bit better than the Soft Soap brand so have switched to the Equate. My problem is that I cannot find the refills in the Wal-Mart store. They are always out. Also, as one reviewer said, we do not need antibacterial agents in our hand soap if we use proper hand washing technique. This may be part of the contribution to the resistant bacteria that have developed. I could not use the previous Equate formula because the scent was so strong and I have allergies to fragrances. I now find that the Equate brand scent is lighter and the Soft Soap scent is WAY too strong for my allergies.
