Manuals & Guides
Happy happy customer once more.
The printer was a replacement for one I have used (Quite alot in fact), The set up was super easy and I have already printed many items I was needing to print. Love the style and the size. Excellent choice on my part to choose this item.
The first one I received from an online order, as we were stay-at-home,-the ink cartilages for Blue and Red did not work. The online tech and returns customer service people were AMAZING. I got a new one shipped to me right way and it works perfect!!
Love This Printer
Hook up was easy and quick. The print quality is very good for a inexpensive printer. Still trying to figure out how to print double sided because the manual is less than adequate for someone who is using this item for the first time. I only wish the HOW TO GUIDE would had walked me step by step at least with Illustrated photos on How To Use each settings and modes, but even without the Illustrations, I was able to learn most things VIA YOUTUBE !! Still Very Pleased With My EPSON WF-2860 !!!!
Good when it prints clearly
I bought this almost a year ago. It seems to go through ink very quickly. We have had recurring issues with poor printing and have had to clean the print heads numerous times to achieve a clean print. It's ok, but I expected a little more reliability.
I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for." It's my first "wireless" printer, so I was a little leery of the installation, and there were a few details that weren't mentioned, but I got it done. The operating panel is far too small & I really don't like the fact that operating steps have to be found online. While more than half of Americans have computer capability at home, it's arrogant presumption to think that everyone does. But other companies do the same thing to their customers. One questionable fact is that the color printing is very pale. I've never had this problem with previous machines over the past 20 years.
I found the ink dont lasted long and you will aways buy more than 3 cartilages along with the costs of buying cartilages
It seemed ok
I bought this to replace a WF-3620 (which I loved) that I had for a few years. I know it's a "step down" but seemed fine for what I needed. The only noticeable difference was that it prints slower and not quit as crisp but still good enough. Everything was fine until the first time I replaced the black ink cartridge. Now when it prints it skips lines. I've done all the maintenance steps which helped a bit but didn't fix the problem.
Save yourself the headache
After loading four brand new cartridges and printing four, poorly printed test pages(text only), it informed me that I was out of cyan. There is no way this is even possible. Either something is faulty with the machine or it's supposed to be this way which is alarming. Either way, I wasted an entire day dealing with this. No one was available for support.
