Unboxing was straight and simple. Worst part of that was removing all the blue tape pieces. These pieces were in place to keep the printer secure in shipment. Not a huge issue but there were several pieces. Since I had previously set up and connected printers, this process was very fluid and straightforward. Two cords to connect and insert the ink and you are ready to go. The enclosed set up brochure does a nice job if this is your first time or you need a refresher. It contains diagrams that make the process very simple. Ink cartridges are separate for each color. The WiFi connection is easy if you remember your password. Firmware updates followed which took the most time of this process. Typing it out it may seem an endless setup. Really just about 12 minutes from unboxing to end. Now for the usage. This is an amazing printer. I love that there are 2 paper trays and the paper is fully contained in inserted trays. No bending over paper that gets folded and want lead into the printer. The digital dashboard is beyond awesome. Anything you need to do is at the touch of a finger. Simple send to print feature. At current I only have connected to my laptop and my sons desktop via Wifi. I also plan to connect my phone to allow printing my coupons from another device. The print quality is tremendous. The test print came out so vivid that that I had to immediately find a picture to print. I chose the Disney castle from our last trip that shows the lake. The print is so detailed that it shows the ripples in the water. Truly a detailed, defined print that will make any finished project a positive reflection on the publisher.

Epson never let's me down!
Easily installed to my network with a couple of clicks! Manages 4 PC's, 3 IPhones & Wi-Fi wireless with zero issues. Epson printers have always been my first choice when it comes to innovation, value & reliability. Receipt printers, Barcode printers & now the Workforce Pro! Replacing the HP that is 5 months old that my employee picked up, should have returned it then but didn't want to make him feel bad when doing me a favor. Should have told him the truth, I knew the failed HP would be right around the corner. Lesson learned :)
The printer was very easy to set up. It came with a CD for software but i went to thier website to download the software there. Very easy and prints great. Walmart was able to get this product out to me when i needed it for the stay at home office / school we are running now. Thanks for the help and i would recommend this printer if someone is looking for a good all in one.
Satisfied - working from home
I've recently been forced to work from home and have to print several pages a day, as well as scan into the computer for filing. The ink is pretty pricey, and the scanning set up in not simple at all if you are not a tech person. I was able to download the scan app and scan directly from my computer, but not able to scan directly from the scanner the way I'd like to. However, for the price it is a great printer. I love the efficiency and quality of the prints. The initial set up of the printer was pretty simple too.
3 Month Old Piece of Junk
Total Junk with One Month Warranty!!! Uses ink incredibly fast, grabs multiple sheets of paper when printing, grabs multiple sheets when scanning, frequently doesn't not draw any paper in to scan but thinks it scanned something, other times scans but only produces a blank white scan...effectively none of the functions work well, I've had it only three months and didn't realize it had such a short warranty. Total waste of money.
Mine May be a Fluke
Okay to be fair, I cannot speak for every printer they make, just the one I got. I plugged it in, it worked and then stopped. It will now just flash the blue light about three times and shut off. Can't get it to power back on.
AT YOUR OWN RISK
I finally was able to set up the printer/scanner/fax in March of this year, and kept it in original packaging. I have been open a little over a month now and get strike thru lines everytime I try to print something. I most likely will not buy another Epson. FYI, my laser pronter is definately the way to go.
