I had a older charger which worked well until a couple of months ago and since it worked so well I thought I would buy another. Then I saw this newer product which chargers a lot of batteries that I did not even know that was rechargeable which will save money and help out the environment which we all see with the crazy weather that is happening more each day. I have some rechargeable batteries that can be already charged in it but can not wait to order the other ones that will be able to be charged in it just the thought amps me up. So if you are looking for something to help out the environment and save some money then I recommend this product for you to give it a try.

About the Energizer Family Battery Charger
I was excited when I got the charger however within in a few weeks two of the four inside components stopped working. I thought it would have held up better than that. I was charging mainly D batteries. Also, the charge doesn't hold very long. Was definately not what I had hoped for.

This device saves me lots of money on batteries! When we bought the Cat's Meow for our 4 cats we started using too many batteries for it so we decided to get this along with the rechargeable batteries and it works very well! I would definitely recommend this if you have a need for it!

worked well.
The only thing that is less than convenient is that recharging batteries for my three cell an other cell has to be added in but it isn't a drawback.

This was exactly what I needed. Something that could charge one battery if I needed or multiple batteries. The best part is I can charge several different kinds of batteries at once. Most of the time you can only change the same type of battery and you have to have two of them. Some of my devices only take one battery so I would have to wait for a second one to need recharging before charging them up again.

I recently purchase 4 cordless microphones that uses 2 AA batteries for each microphone. The Energizer Family Battery Charger makes it possible for me to charge all 8 batteries at one time. The automatic cut off feature takes away the worry of overcharging the batteries and will prolong battery life. Good product. Glad I bought it

5. Charging time will vary based on the mAh capacity of the battery. If the battery charger has a set charging rate, then the higher the capacity of the battery ( say 2500 mAh vs. 5000 mAh ) the longer it will take to charge the battery. This is presuming that the batteries are fully depleted. If a battery is not fully depleted when you charge it, then it will fully recharge faster depending on how much of a charge still remained in the battery prior to recharging it. Example: A cup that is half full can be refilled faster than a cup that is completely empty, if the water is being poured at the same rate for both cups.
