I'm happy with this and am planning to by one for a friend. The only thing I can't figure out is if I can get the music to shuffle. I feel this was a great value for the money I paid and it meets my needs.

I wanted an inexpensive MP3 player to use while stocking shelves on 3rd shift. It fits very well into the smallest Case Logic bag that comes with a crampon to fit on your belt. It has a great sound. The only issue is that it doesn't come with an instruction manual, but you can download it from E-Matic.com.
I read the reviews for the product and it was good and bad so when i got them (bought 3) i was skeptical that they may not work. well, after a complete charge of the battery, they work very well. my kids like listening to their music. i got this for christmas. i have not tried all the features but the ones I have work well with a really good sound.
i recently bought this item and i read some previous reviews after i ordered it and since i am not from an american state it would b hard 2 return it, so i said what the heck! I am kinda tech savvy...though i am only 16! In some of the reviews it said the item was smaller than it looks, cheap looking, it freezes, and it doesnt keep charge.....some of this however is not true! It doesnt freeze it simply locks you know like a child lock for the keypad, you will know when it locks because when in the music player to ther top where the battery is; i that line there is a little lock pad image that shows it as locked when unlocked it shows it as open....to unlock u simply hold down the play\pause button for about 2 seconds, the bad thing is that it doesnt tell you about the keypad lock in the manual, some of those people obviously didnt try to unlock it, rather than turning it off and then back on....about the size yes it is in fact much smaller than it looks it can be lost easily but it can fit anywhere(pocket, handbag, palm of your hand easily)......it does look cheap though but i think it is cute!, it does keep charge because i charged it once since i got it saturday...and i used it whole of saturday night and sunday i am charging it now but not because the battery is dead because i am about to download some songs...it does keep charge! it is very light weight...i actually love the weight....though it makes it seem cheaper due to the weight but you get what you pay for! i really like it! it is perfect for anyone of any age! a previous review also said it is hard to understand but it is not if you keep the manual and read it properly you would understand it perfectly! another one also said the headphones u get with it is of poor quality....it is not it is perfect because i even use it with my phone! Other than the look THIS IS A VERY GOOD BUY! I hope this helped ~^_^~
This product is a great purchase for a kid. I bought it for the simple purpose to have while doing workouts. The volume just isn't loud enough for me but it may just be the headphones that come with the device. I will see if this is true as I will be buying different headphones to try out. Also it is supposed to be a 4GB but it can't seem to have more than 86 songs in the music player folder. It can hold a whole lot of information but don't show more than 86 songs at one time in the music folder. Also would like a more detailed book on how to use it. This is why I would recommend it for a kid, great price and is very light. I will keep working with it to see what I can do with it but it serves its original purpose. I also bought one for my 7 year old son so he can listen to music and I like the fact that he can't turn the volume up so high he becomes hearing impaired. The highest volume of 32 is just barely loud enough to hear over a tv.
While reading the various reviews on this and other models and makes, I found "as always" people simply have different viewpoints. I found this product to be easy to use, light weight, and an incredible value in comparing other models. I will 'note' for all whom have read the remarks of "Freezing?" is a simple procedure turning off the "Lock in menu." . . . That fixed that right away. I've now purchased multiples for gifts and to instruct to others on MP3 format, rather than book. This review is based solely for the reason of faith in this product, which is sound; though to save you time and cash if you are in need of such a device. And it "Sounds Great Too!" . . . Another thought comes to mind as well; as a Father I've always read the directions assembling anything for the children; (we should take our own advice!) . . . Along with the "Quick start manual" (not much) there is a programed manual in detail. . . . We have cached the entire New Testament (dramatized audio) with dozens of songs, and pictures as well, with 'room to spare' for small E books/documents/ etc. I've also found the voice function recorder an amazing help to my day; with one button my 'thoughts' are retained till reviewing. Wonderful! . . . BTW; . . .The additional purchase of the 10 in 1 Accessory kit was a wise Idea, that too was a Super Value, and an enhancement of the player and it's abilities. For such wonderful price one can 'save their funds,' and "Have their Fun" at the same time. . . .
I purchased this mp3 player for myself, just to use around the house or out walking. There is not a camera, or any fancy options on this player. Basically you can download music, and listen. The video feature is obsolete, it's so small and fuzzy it's not worth using that options. Overall I like this, but I didn't expect an Apple Ipod either. Good first mp3 player for a child. I purchased the Ematic touchscreen with the 3in screen, camera, video for my 6yr old daughter...I should have gotten this for her. This player is great to put into your pocket while your walking around it's so small. I'm using my daughter's mp3 player to take this picture.
My granddaughter received this for Christmas. She's been messing with it since she got, and other than the fact that you can't make "playlists", or "albums" to make it easier to find what she's looking for, she loves it! So she decided it was time to load up a video and see how that worked out. We purchased a movie from iTunes to run through the converter that comes with the media player, so that we could load it on to her player. And here we hit a brick wall. Every time we try to "convert" the movie file (.m4p), the converter says that we need to install all of these different codecs. They have all been installed . . . I've closed out of the machine and rebooted . . . nothing. The converter does NOT recognize the file in any fashion. And I've gotten no where trying to find out how to make this magic happen! SO! My recommendation is based on this: If you're looking for a nice, reasonably priced mp3 player, that is a drop 'n drag system that is very easy to load and works great so far! The FM radio works quite well, and you can record from the radio, however it is static-y, as one might expect. The Voice Memo feature is a favorite at this point ... my granddaughter likes to record herself playing her Paper Jamz and goofing around. She also uses it to remind herself about stuff that she needs to take to school. If you are thinking about buying it and plan on watching videos with it . . . don't buy this. You will probably go nuts with it like we are.
