Excellent in a compact package
I love my new vacuum. It arrived quickly (three days - yay), and it was super easy to assemble. No screws. Pulled the cord out of the cord retractor and plugged it in. Surprised immediately with how quiet it was. The telescopic wand was the next surprise. It extends so far that I can reach the other side of the bed when cleaning under it from one side. The wand is instantly removable from the power head, so cleaning the edges is super easy. And, you don't have to bend down to remove the power brush. Excellent. Emptying was very easy, just a push of a button and the spring loaded door pops open. The lifetime HEPA filter is washable. My FAVORITE thing is the mini electric power brush for stairs and furniture. Removed a month's worth of Border...STLguy1205

I wanted to love it
I've owned my Dyson DC07 Animal for 12 years, (it still works beautifully), but I have arthritis and sometimes and upright is more than I can handle. I was looking for a canister vac for in between cleanings and the reviews on this one were good, along with a clearance price so I gave it a shot. It worked for literally less than 10 minutes before the beater & light in the motorized head began shorting out on the pull back. Did some troubleshooting on line and found that this was an electrical problem that required a repair. I put it back in the box and returned it - ordering the Dyson DC39 like I should have in the first place. In the 10 minutes that it worked, it picked up a fair amount of cat hair from my entry rug, but noticeably absent ...Kuhlestmom

- 5 out of 5 stars review8/18/2014this is a Great vacumn for floors and carpets!!!I had another Electrolux like this one, which gave up the ghost. I then did my research for a new vacuum, and found one that said it was good for floors and carpets. It was not, I was sweeping and then vacuuming, and it was not efficient. I then looked again at what had worked, and WALMART had a very good price, the shipping was free and quick, and I am once again using one vacuum for all flooring surfaces. This Electrolux is easy to use, easy to clean, and you will be surprised at how much dirt is on your floors and carpets. I highly recommend.RGV60
- 5 out of 5 stars review8/2/2014A Good BuyAfter having to replace yet another Kenmore canister vacuum, I thought it might be time to move on to another brand. I found this one online and thought I'd take a chance, and I'm glad I did. It has good suction (with or without the power head engaged) and gets the job done. I have two dogs and it handles cleaning the whole house before the canister needs to be emptied. I appreciate it being light weight and it doesn't take up quite as much space as my old Kenmore canister. Also, it arrived three days earlier than projected, so that was a bonus.Bianca55
- 5 out of 5 stars review9/5/2014Best vacuum I've ever had!!!I bought a few different vacuums in the weeks prior to my purchase of the electrolux ultra active. I tried the shark navigator, the shark rotator, and the electrolux Access T8. The Access T8 was definitely the worst of them all. Both the sharks' hoses were impossible, they would constantly make the vacuum fall over when I used it as an extension. They did, however, have good suction, but there is no comparison to the suction of the electrolux ultra active!!! Seriously. I returned the other vacuums to the store after trying each of them for a couple of weeks. I read the reviews of the ultra active and I was sold, so I bought it from walmart. I am so happy with this vacuum, I've never had a better one! And the price was the best part of all! ...HootisDog
