Great Concept, Not So Great Execution

I love the concept of a S'Mores ice cream and I wanted to love this one. It just wasn't executed quite right to really capture the flavor of s'mores. First, in my container there were hardly any graham cracker moments (unlike the fabulous ribbon of graham cracker in the Key-Lime Pie froyo you make!). Then, we've got unmelted marshmallow chunks instead of a ribbon of marshmallow creme--half the flavor and feel of a s'more is in the melted marshmallow! And finally, there's no effort to get any sort of "toasted" flavor in this ice cream. You could've gotten it by toasting the graham cracker (if there actually was enough graham cracker in it!), or by adding a ribbon of toasted caramel, one designed to taste like the toasted crust on a creme brulee. That would've been fantastic! Then this ice cream would really deserve to be called S'Mores. As it stands, you could call it milk chocolate marshmallow pie and no one would ever think "Hey, this tastes like a s'mores!"

    BEST FLAVOR

This is the best flavor of ice cream that I have ever tasted!! I’m so bummed it is only limited edition :( please make this flavor permanent! It will bring joy to all.

    Greatest flavor yet

The best flavor yet. I would like to see it back in my area.

    OMG Perfect Combo

Triple peanut butter was the best ever. My mother in law bought for us in Iowa. Died and gone to heaven. Tried to buy it when we got home in CA. No go. Called Dryers to find locations. Drive to three stores. No go. Completed zip code search for the greater Long Beach area. No go. Please make it available as a regular shelf item. Based on other reviews I read people love your product.!!!

It was Ambrosia - how can we get more???

I'm a peanut butter ice cream connoisseur and this was one of the very best I've ever tasted, and I'm including places that make small batch ice cream by hand. And PB IC must have a vanilla base, a chocolate base, in my opin, overwhelms your taste buds, you can't eat much of it. But fortunately (or unfortunately for the waistband in my jean) Dreyer's uses a peanut butter flavored vanilla base, if that makes sense. If it doesn't make sense that's because I'm in withdrawal...how can I live without this stuff!! I looked it up on line because I was hoping other stores in my area still had a supply. I figured that 'limited supply' meant that maybe in 5 years they'd change it out...now in 4 months!!! What have you done to us, Dreyers???? Bring back the TPBIC...please....please......
