Perfect for tiny hands.

I thought these a little small at first but they are just right for tiny hands. I use them in my phonics work with Dyslexia pupils. The only thing I would change would be to have the long and short vowel pictures on different bags so that you can sort word cards with the 2 sounds. Otherwise they are perfect. I made my own pictures out of felt, and stuck them on the blanks to cover the correct sound of the Capital letters in the music alphabet. I use these with my music students. A-G can all now be matched with the sound of the letter. I added Bee B; Demon D and Genie G to complete the set.

Great teaching tool for babies too!!

I received this product as a prize from a giveaway a while back, and have had great success using it with my preschooler. However, I am now having even more fun using the bean bags with my 14 month old baby boy. The bean bags are colorful and durable and are perfect for my little one to grasp, throw, and explore. While he is playing with them we talk about the pictures on each of the bags to help develop his vocabulary, phonemic awareness, and communication skills. He loves this activity and they are now permanently housed in one of his toy bins for future play and discovery.

Great but could be better...

These are wonderful! It would be better if corresponding alphabet letters were embroidered on the other side of the bean bag. Otherwise these are alot of fun!
