Only one panel blocks light as advertised...

I recently bought two of the Eclipse Zodiac black panels, however perhaps it was just a manufacturing mistake, but although they look the same and feel the same thickness, one lets in much, much more light than the other. The good panel seems to block 99% of light as advertised, but the other can't be any higher than 60%. When the sun is shining they look like two entirely different panels. Were both panels properly made, I would highly recommend them. I'm currently waiting for a reply from their customer service.

I bought these panels to replace some mainstay panels i bought last year that i hated. These are a major upgrade. they are stunning. I bought them in linen which is about 2 shades darker than the picture shows. i would actually call them champagne but they still fit in perfectly with the color of my furniture. I didnt buy them because of the light blocking feature, but i included a pic anyway to show that they do block the light. i dont really need black out shades in my living room so a pared these with sheers underneath. also i highly recommend going over these curtains with an iron. they come out quite wrinkly. i ironed them once on a low heat. will probably iron them again latter. overall i am very happy and get lots of compliments on them! will be buying them in black for my bedroom as well!

I bought 2 of these panels for my baby's ,due in September, nursery. I bought them in Sage and they are a little darker than I expected, however they looked great after I got the decorations up! They block out all the light and have kept the heat from radiating into the room. I would definitely recommend these!!

The Green you get isn't what you see online

I was really excited about getting the sage green curtains with the circle pattern for my Arcadian door. My trim and baseboards are a dark brown and I wanted something to accent it, do a better job blocking out the sun than blinds (live in AZ and my sliding glass door faces the south) and add some soft color to the room - the curtains in the picture for sage green would have accomplished my goal/desire with ease. Well, I'm rather disappointed because the actual color of the curtains is really dark like Hunter Green - you can only make out the circle pattern if the light is on. The only thing I can think of is the picture was of the sample product and the manufacturer messed up. We 8 more rooms to go in our house before we are done putting in new curtains. Too bad for Walmart - due to this issue, we will be choosing another retailer to buy our curtains and rods from. (I'm going to start pricing Target, Anna's Linens, Bed Bath and Beyond,

It's been hanging for about a month now and I still like it. I don't like to write reviews immediately because my feelings may change over time, but I think one month is good. It does what I want it to. It keeps the light and the cold out and I'm sure, in the summer, it will keep the heat out. It reminds me of hotel drapes because it's solid and heavy. I like the color and patten that I got. My only complaint is that it is too narrow and I have to really concentrate to make sure that my windows are covered at both ends when the curtains are closed. Keep in mind that I'm using it for my kitchen sliding glass doors, so it's wider than normal windows. Over all, I like them and would recommend them. I might just need to buy one more panel to cover my doors.

    • A. these curtains have a sheen and are heavy because of the thermal backing. i like the weight of them but the thinner ones i also bought hang better because they arent as bulky. the black out thermal panel works, but i am keeping these open over a set of mini blinds...i had to purchase a set of brackets that extend farther because the ones that come with them only extend about 2 inches
