    Darker room

Room is definitely darker and keeps room cooler, too. I had actually bought a few at the store and didn't have enough so I ordered more online. Process was fast and efficient.

I'm just a guy but love 'em.

This is my first time purchasing curtains so have nothing to compare them to. I live alone in a little log cabin I built and first ordered for just one window. I liked it so much I ordered another set. I got the chocolate brown ones and they go with the decor of my cabin perfectly. And just like described, they ALMOST completely darken the room except for the little light that sneaks in around the edges. So based on what little I know about curtains, I believe they are an excellent value.
    In little log cabin

I have been looking for a good quality blackout curtain for awhile .. One that actually works and doesn't fall apart when you wash it and doesn't let the sun "leak" through .. This is it ! Love these curtains .. Seriously they do exactly as they are intended .. My husband and I put them up in the middle of the afternoon during the brightest part of the day and it was instantly dark in the house to the point I had to turn the light on to see ! This works great for Saturday mornings when you want to sleep in but couldn't before because the sun shone through the window and woke you up .. also works great when your watching a movie on TV and the sun is trying to peak through the window creating a glare across the screen .. I only have one negative thing to say and that is I wish they came in more color varieties .. You will not regret buying these at all !! I loved them so much I bought 4 sets for the living room and 4 sets for my bedroom !

    they are ok curtains

I bought 9 of these curtains over a 3 week period some online and some at the store. I only needed 4 panels, however of the first 4 that I bought 3 had a flaw or/ and hole in the lining. so I returned those and bought 2 more - and those had flaws or/ and holes in them. Finally, I got it on the last 3 I ordered. I just returned the flawed/ hole in liner ones as defects at are local store. For $12.00 I guess you can't ask for great curtains, but if you have to buy multiple panels that adds up and that is when you expect a little more than cheap looking curtains for your money. I did have this same problem with a different brand curtain for our daughters room. Its material and it's going to have flaws, so I just buy and return till I get the ones that don't have flaws/ holes. A pain!!!!! Shouldn't have to be that way though for what things cost now days.

    Four Curtain Comparison

In order to compare curtains directly I narrowed my options down to four (the number of panels I would need) and purchased one panel of each. I selected the four based on product description and reviews. The four curtains I bought are: Eclipse Nottingham Thermal EnergyEfficient Grommet Curtain Panel in Plum SunZero Caleb Curtain Panel in Plum Sun Zero Nolan Blackout Grommet Curtain Panel in Taupe Sun Zero Millennial Arya Room Darkening Grommet Curtain Panel in Magenta I hung all four curtains on the same window to compare them in the following qualities: Blocking Light, Ease of Opening and Closing, and Appearance. I did not wash them to remove lines and wrinkles so I am comparing them directly as they are when you take them out. Hands down the Eclipse curtain blocked light the best followed by the Nolan curtain and the Millennial Arya curtain. The Caleb curtain blocked light very poorly. Now I like to be able to draw my curtains and open them on a whim so that I can block the light when I want to, and open the windows when I want to, so I chose only grommeted panels. The Eclipse and Caleb curtains performed very poorly in that regard as the fabric is very stiff and doesn’t respond well to being moved, and doesn’t hang well. The Nolan and Millennial curtains both draw open and closed very smoothly and they hang well in either position. For appearance, because of the way they hang the Nolan and Millenia curtains look much better than the other two. The Caleb is particularly ugly because the color has a patchy pattern. It may work well with some decor, but it isn’t a smooth color, and is not what it looks like online. The Eclipse pattern contains shiny embellishments, which could look classy if the material hung less rigidly, but as it is it looks like cheap material trying too hard. Both the Nolan and the Millennial have smooth solid coloring and a pleasant texture. They are soft and flowy to the touch. They do have a sort of glossy-ness to them, especially the Millennial, but that may just be the specific color I chose. The color of each of them is also a shade lighter than it appears online. Overall, I recommend the Sun Zero Nolan curtains. They provide the best combination of looks and function. If you really just want to make a room dark and aren’t gonna be opening and closing your curtains twenty times a day like I do, then you should go for the Eclipse curtains, because they perform best at blocking light and look fairly good when closed. you should also buy enough panels to cover a few inches more than the area you’re trying to block so that light doesn’t escape in the cracks between the curtains.

They look and feel nice and price was right.

I couldn't be happier with my new drapes. Really are room darkening, insulated and light weight. Price was right. I received them before the expected date. We wanted something for privacy on our sliding glass doors to the patio. works great.

    White layer sticks together

They sticked together in the package and when to separate them, the sunblock layer (white layer) came off. You can clearly see the hole under light. I bought 8, 7 out of 8 were like that. By the way, I tried really careful to separate them, but it did not work.
Disappointed one of the curtains had two small holes in it.

    Love these curtains!

I needed curtains to block out the hot summer sun and these definitely fill the bill. Although not advertised as blackout curtains, they did darken the room very significantly. I did have to press them to get all the wrinkles out even after following the instructions to place them in the dryer with a damp towel, but well worth the effort. They look much more expensive than their very reasonable price. I used 2 panels to cover a 52" window.

    love the drapes!

I have a large living room window, and when the wind blows in the winter, the living room gets chilly. With these thermal drapes, I can sit on the sofa near the window and be cozy and warm!
