This material is truly able to block light and cold air. I stitched these panels together and then onto the curtain panels and I am very pleased with the result. The curtain panels each needed 2 of the insulating panels. I recommend stitching them together if possible. There is no unpleasant smell to the material. and it is easy to work with.

does the job
I just got my order yesterday, and I have to say they are FANTASTIC! Extremely high quality fabric, well-made, and live up to everything in the product description. I highly recommend these curtains!
Bought this to cover an outside metal door, keeps all air out, perfect in every way. would recomend
No rod pocket, but comes with drapery hooks which were of no use to me. I turned them upside down and used the hem as a rod pocket since the liner won't be visible. Some nice features are a velcro strip to hold the liners together at the middle and they are machine washable. All-in-all an excellent product at a very good price
Good curtains, but a bit misleading...
The package says 54", but that's only when you combine the two 27" curtains together with the attached Velcro. So one package equals only one 54" curtain. Still going to keep mine, but need to order more to fill up the desired amount of window.
Fine for the cost.
The only negative is the wrinkle/folds from being in the package do not come out. The material is kind of rubbery, so ironing is not a possibility. At least they are behind the drapes.
use a second rod
The curtains themselves work fine. The loops to attach with hooks to the existing curtains were ridiculous so I ended up pinning them to the curtains. A 2 curtain rod set would have worked better but I didn't have the room. I didn't object to the Velcro attaching the 2 pieces but the velcro was not matched correctly so one side was longer. Also the velcro needed to be longer or it did not close at the bottom and let in light. I ended up pinning this as well. Good product but poor craftsmanship.
YOU WILL NEED 2PKG. MY THEIR MEASUREMENTS THEY ARE REAL NARROW. BUT OTHER THAN THAT THEY SURE DO BLOCK 90% OUT!
Good quality, but width not what I expected.
Since the panels are half the width I expected, I am not able to pull the curtains closed. This is not good. The liners should be as wide as the curtains in order for them to open and close properly. Other than this one problem, the quality of the liners is good.
Unfortunately, this product spells like plastic and after being washed twice and left to air dry for several days it just won't come out. It isn't something I could use in our room. I wouldn't recommend it.
