Own a modern way to flow air around the room when you bring in the Dyson AM02 Tower Fan, Blue, 19125-01. This is a cooling accessory that features Air Multiplier technology. It uses a jet to draw in surrounding air and amplify it up to 16 times. Due to the bladeless design, there is no choppiness, and the sound is low. This lets air be introduced into it and circulated out at a much higher rate. Airflow from the Dyson tower fan is smooth with no buffeting and can be quickly adjusted. The device is safe and has no spinning blades, and it also has a remote for convenient control. The air multiplier fan is remote control-curved and magnetized for neat storage on the machine. You can push a button on the remote to adjust the airflow power and another to add rotation. All this and more can be found on the Dyson AM02 Tower Fan, Blue, 19125-01.

Q. How does a Dyson tower fan compare with other tower fans, i.e.- amount of air moved? For $449 I would hope to be impressed!
- The fan works by creating a low pressure system behind the fan tower and then multiplying the air towards the user. With this in mind, on full speed and adequate space to create this condition, I have to turn the fan down to a gentle setting. If you place this fan in the corner of a room it won't work as well, it needs a little space behind the fan (2-3 feet) to create said low pressure system. The price is the hardest portion to swallow for this product. After going through 2-3 traditional tower fans I had had enough. Having spent a few weeks with this fan in my office, I REALLY like it and consider it money well spent. As an engineer myself, the amount of moving pieces inside this fan is minimal, thus, overtime users shouldn't experience as many failures. I hope this helps.by Orion3283/15/2014Was this answer helpful? (4) (0)Was this answer helpful?
- I have never owned one, but have seen them in operation at a Sears in Phoenix. They are attractive, quiet, but don't really provide much of a "breeze" ... My guess, therefore, is that they are more for circulating the air a bit, not really what *I* want them for (a stiff breeze to cool me on hot days).by Wholesaleforless3/15/2014Was this answer helpful? - This is Jessica from Dyson Customer Service. Thank you for your interest in Dyson technology. It is difficult to determine whether an individual user will find the AM02 to be loud. However, Dyson sound engineers have worked on reducing the tonality of the sound produced by Dyson Air Multiplier™ fans, by targeting specific frequencies. Noise isn’t only about the decibel level, but the quality of the sound being produced. Please let us know if you have any additional questions and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
